What do you prognosticators have to say and why?
Myself, Bama is not the same as previous Bama teams.
Reasons? I think in part the addition of Lane Kiffen. For whatever reason(s), and i suspect there are some, he brings an undisciplined aura to whichever team he gets involved with. Stupid self inflicted penalties, etc. He is not the "QB whisperer" as some had him with this current Bama QB.
Miss ST i saw most of the game vs Arkansas. Very unimpressive and only Ark screw ups allowed them to escape.
Every team it seems has a bad game on the way to an NCAA *championship* so i'm all for giving MSST a mulligan vs Ark.
Bottom line,
Bama at home.

Well MSU won in Death Valley this year.....so anything is possible. However, it is still going to be a tough game no matter what the QB situation is.

Keep Bama's linebacker like safeties honest with passes. Something LSU was not able to do. Those guys are vulnerable. MSUs D appears to be every bit as good as LSU. And MSU's offense is a hell of a lot better. But I get the mental hurdle of beating a team that has dominated.

Dude...it's not a hurdle. It's more like Mount Everest. We were in the same situation a couple of years ago...Miss. St. was 8-0 and a whole "we believe" campaign was started. Needless to say we went into Alabammer and got our asses handed to us.
But...you're right. Our QB situation is much better this time and our Defense is just as good as Alabama is. I just hope Lane Kiffen calls a terrible game and our defense can get a few turnovers.

I hope MSU wins. Uncle Saban can pull some miracles in a one game playoff, especially against a passing team like FSU. MSU would most likely sneak into the Playoff even with a lose, certainty if it's a close game

Alabama is the superior team, but they have not played up to their potential this year. I believe they have been way too cute with their play calling. Too much passing on first down when they have Yeldon and Henry in the backfield. Its not on Kiffen either, as this problem has been growing for years. Being that the game is at home, I think Alabama will pull it out, but it could be close. If it was on the road I would definitely favor Mississippi State.

Its one of the Worlds great cities. I love seeing Pakistanis sleeping on the Tube. I have been to the sunny beaches of Brighton, the vacation spot. Now this is overrated. Unless you like people with hair dyed every color. Liverpool is charmingly dreary.
If ya like old stuff, England is great. I love that country. I love me some real football. Upton Park and the mighty Hammers. Too bad they are switching stadiums. That is a great place to watch soccer. And the blowing bubbles song, I loved it.

Well yeah, but my point is none of those are English dishes. They have no history of cuisine and the local food is turrible. I spent like 8 weeks working in Middlesbrough and could barely keep myself nourished. I couldn't even eat the hotel breakfast buffet other than cheese and bread because they cook all their shit in oil or just somehow ruin the taste. I mean how bad do you have to suck to fuck up bacon? How many "English" restaurants are in your city? None, there's "pubs" where they serve bar food. What about French, Italian, Spanish, etc?

There's a place called the Full English in Austin.
EDIT: I understand what you are saying though, especially if you were stuck there for work and your options can be somewhat limited.

This isn't the BCS. Would Oregon have jumped an undefeated FSU if that system was still in place? Among one loss teams Miss St's is clearly the most 'respectable'.
