He played great tonight but with Kawhi the key is consistency. Can he follow this game up with another great game tomorrow against Golden State.

ugly ugly game

it was weird seeing kawhi get the ball and iso in the post, the spurs offense has no identity right now

with that said, great win i dunno how they pulled it off they played so horrible, somehow the clippers played worse

Shooting is seriously cramped, particularly in the second unit with no Mills or Marco and with Bonner struggling mightily. Green can't find any space either. Lots of Duncan and Leonard post ups and Parker/Manu pick and roll. Funny moment when Baynes gave Manu a pick he called off like three times.

Kawhi needs the ball in iso more often! He is finally getting his rhythm back!

Kawhi's career high is not 26 points..WTF

Why are people mentioning this? he just scored 29 in the most important game last year...

Exactly. So many people overreacted to his poor performance from before. Hope Leonard is in his rhythm now, though.

Jury is still out, to be entirely honest.

Let's see if we can make his average days more like this one.

One thing is clear, less ball-time for Tony, more for Kawhi.

We gotta figure out what we have, and we can't do that if Parker isn't keeping in mind the fact that we have to figure out what Kawhi is.

Enrique's gotta be mindful out there.

Parker keeps this up and I might have to start calling him enrique. lol :lmao

Parker scored 9 of Spurs first 11 4th quarter points. He keeps it up and I'll call him Mon Deu

I doubted yes, even called him "Max Leonard"... with that said, he's not exempt from criticism just yet... I think only Duncan and DRob ever reached that status as Pop constantly gets shat on....

Apology for what exactly ?

only retards would trash talk Kawhi for a couple of bad games due to an eye injury... I'm not one of them

spursparker9
11-11-2014, 08:01 AM
tbh, I didn't knew that the eye was still bothering Kawhi.

only knew after he said it after the loss to Pelicans.

"I don't think I'm going anywhere," Leonard said. "I mean they love me here. I like the organization, and if it was up to me, I want to finish out with one team like a lot of great players have done, to stay with one organization their whole career and just be loyal to that. You never know. We'll see what happens next summer, but I'm pretty sure I'll be in a Spurs jersey for my whole life."

:lol@ people saying hes not worth max money. Alot of great things KL does does not show up on stats and yes his points isnt allways the highest but he is the 4th option and its the points that he makes that matter allot. It would be a crime against him to get paid less then guys lake Haywood and Person.

Spurs better not try to low ball him.

manufan10

That strip of CP3 and also of Crawford were fantastic. Those types of plays are what make Kawhi great. Those are two of the better ball-handlers in the league.

Let's remind ourselves too of what an incredible move was made by RC Buford, and what a great job the Spurs' scouts did... the book on Leonard out of college was that he was a good defender who couldn't shoot. When the Spurs traded a much-liked back up point guard for the 15th pick in the draft, a lot of people were scratching their heads... Now we've got a Finals MVP who is the centerpiece of the future. We got that for our back up point guard, who, btw, was also a brilliant draft pick at #26. In essence, Buford converted the #26 pick in the 2008 draft into the central future building block of the most successful professional sports team in America. That's a pretty impressive accomplishment.

And we also got Bertans from the deal if he ever comes over.

Anyone on this team with a partially guaranteed contract or are we pretty much screwed?
