:lol

Portland is lucky there's no competition at all in their division with OKC's injuries and is pretty much a lock for a top 4 spot but a first round exit is a strong possibility imo.

We are essentially as far into the season as when the Houston Texans were 2-0 last year and finished 0-14. Meaningless.

These threads are always fun bumps after the Blazers annual playoff ejection.

IMHO it's the opposite since it always ends that way for them Blazers...

Seriously it's not looking good for us, we might need to fight with Phoenix and New Orleans for the 8 spot...

Portland won a championship in 1977, so it makes sense to trash talk a few games into this season.

:lol Jimmy Carter was the president and laptop computers and cellphones didn't exist yet, so you're not too far off! That's the last time Portland won a championship. Tim Duncan was 1 year old.

Will the trail blazers get smoked in 5 games again? Looking like a high probability right now

Aware me, if Portland finishes with a 9th seed record but leads their division..will they make the playoffs?

I'm not sure if Durant and Westbrook will be back soon enough to top their division or even make it to the playoffs...

Winning the division guarentees you a spot in the top 4 I think...

Could be all 5 SW-division Teams plus GS, LAC and Sacto with the eight best records. What happens? I donīt know exactly...

"The team that has the best record in each of the three divisions in each conference is declared division champion. The three division champions, and another team in the conference with the best record, are seeded one through four by their records. This guarantees the division champions no worse than the fourth seed, and also guarantees the conference's two best teams (by record) will be the top two seeds even if the second-best team doesn't win its division. Of the remaining eleven conference teams, the four with the best records are seeded fifth through eighth based on their record."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_playoffs

Top 4 is guaranteed for division champ.

West Conference is so loaded. At least 11 teams are fighting to make playoffs. And I would say no less than 8 teams believe they could win a championship. Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, Rockets, Mavs, Warriors, Memphis, and Blazers. I can't ever remember one conference so deep.

Troollll

3 rotation players are out. Its November. Last season the blazers were looking like one of the best in the league in November, then what happened? Dropped to a 6-seed? Swept?
