Hmm.. let's check the resume:

-Laker fan since the 70's despite growing up in Cleveland and moving to Phoenix. Can't doubt the possibility of him being a Cavs or a Suns fan until the Lakers drafted Magic & he found himself a new, winning, dynastic team to back.

-Alabama fan. Self explanatory. No evidence of his Tide fandom pre-2009.

-Once a Browns and Indians fan but gave up on both teams presumably due to sucking, although he cites "moving off the lakefront" as the excuse. Only pussies and assholes root for losers. Cubby wants nothing to do with losing teams.

Dale was getting shit on constantly as a Cavs fan by Celtics fans. He decided to join a winning program and abort the shitty Cavs. He doesn't defend his fandom because it's indefensible. In for a penny, in for a pound he says, but he didn't feel that way obviously about the Cavs.

That stadium excuse you lodge for abandoning the Indians post-Mesa is indefensible.

How did it feel for you to dump the Tribe because they weren't good enough for you?

I dumped 'em because they moved off the lakefront and took root off the goddamn road where you could see into the field from the fuckin' street. It was like a minor league ball park.

No.

Mike Brantley, Santana, that starting pitching might be good enough for you this year though.
