Why is that?

Pau ringing sans Kobe damages the latter's legacy even more.

Gonna be a tough season for you. You're gonna have to pick a poison:

Duncan getting 6. Gasol ringing sans Kobe. Howard ringing after being driven off by Kobe, who told him, "I'll teach you how to win a championship."

Better get that Memphis Grizzlies jersey cleaned and pressed.

We'll go back to work tomorrow and hopefully we'll meet this team this time next year. I think Popovich is an excellent coach and Tim Duncan is like a deity. Thank you, for beating us." - Pau

I know what you're doing, Cub. You're building us up to an unrealistic level so that you can come in here and act "shocked" if we don't repeat, thus giving yourself more "troll" ammunition to work with.

Fact is, there's a lot of good teams out West this year. Memphis, Dallas, Houston, and possibly OKC if they can get healthy in time. It ain't guaranteed.

This one was lost as soon as Choke Paul started up with the heroball crap after watching the bench build a big lead without him. Nice "clutch" turnovers from the "best closer since Dad Killer," too. Also, Hinrich and Butler torched his overrated, overpaid ass. Honestly, I'm ready to blow it up and rebuild, this team isn't even fun to watch anymore and is going nowhere.

No need for a blowup. The starting wings are atrocious offensively and defensively, and there's no depth behind them besides Crawford, who can be hit or miss. And Farmar has proven to be a bust as the backup PG.

Question is: Who do you move to bolster those positions? No way ownership would move Paul, so it might have to DeAndre.

We basically have no trade assets now outside of the so-called "Big Three" and Crawford because of Doc's obsession with shooters who can't shoot, marginal players at the wings and pseudo-stars of the mid 2000's.

DJ is expendable, tbh... this is how you fix the Clippers, IMO

http://i58.tinypic.com/w0qd6a.png

Denver is tanking, DJ only has one more year on his deal... you get a solid center to replace him, and fix the wing situation. Both players come only on 2 year deals, which can be trade chips next year if it doesn't pan out...
