Theoretically would be a prefect player to fit into the Spurs' system, but in reality they both suck ass. Another waste pick by the Spurs.

Dude just needs to make his open shots and he'll be decent.

Still way better than Austin Daye.

Nah, He'll be fine. Go look at Austin Rivers rookie stats, and then this year's. He was horrible, and now he's going to make some nice money next summer as an unrestricted FA. Sean Even said it would take 2-3 years, but that he'd be VERY GOOD. If Austin Daye can get his shot off, this kid will figure it out.

But he's not making them. Not even when we play with the Lakers or the 76ers. Time to send him to the D-league see if we can improve he's game or not.

His rebounding and passing ability alone make him instantly better than Daye.

He's playing scared right now, and needs to get his confidence back. He's a 20 year-old playing on a team with a bunch of veterans and he doesn't want to step on anybodies toes. He wants to play well, he's just not knocking down shots right now. But he will eventually, just like he did in Summer League. Patience.

Elliott also said that Ian Mahinmi was an all-star in the making. :lol The dude's a massive homer when it comes to Spurs players.

A 6'9 Nando De Colo? I'll take that

If you watch him on drives to the basket, that long slow stride past a screen looks like he's made it--but then reality shows up in the form of a genuine NBA shot blocker and swats another one away. My God, he's even slower than Bonner. He'd better develop a .40 % shot from outside the arc if he's gonna make it in this league. I wish him well.

People are so quick to write off young players. The kid is hardly 21 years old and should be a junior in college. He was the 30th pick in the draft. Were people expecting an instant all-star or something? I'll agree that he hasn't looked good in his minutes so far, but we're fucking 3 weeks into the season lol. No need to write his entire career off and act like all of his potential is suddenly lost.

People think every rookie we draft is gonna be like Kawhi his rookie year, and every FA we sign will be an all star talent signing for below-market contracts. ST is crazy.

KA still got potential.

I feel that he defer a bit too much to the others as they were all NBA champions and only KA alone is the new guy on the block.

I know Chip has said when he works on a guys shot, they get worse before they get better. I think that is what is going on with Anderson, his body is adjusting to the new shooting form. I like the rest of this game, especially for the last pick in the first round.

KA is going to be fine. He's a rookie who has averaged 15 minutes over 5 games played, and most of that has been with the garbage crew. Hard to shine that way. At least he already looks better on the court than Daye or Ayres.

Way to early in KA's rookie season to make an absurd comparison.

Pop is the problem, as usual. Splitter is out, so Bonner starts!? Diaw should be the starting 4, Anderson should be the back-up 4. Dicking around gives you the Anderson you see, instead of the Anderson that would be.

Yeah if the Spurs could ever manage to put a decent roster together they might have a shot at becoming NBA Champs someday.

Told you he was a scrub. Wasn't really a standout player at FUCLA. He is better than Daye and Pendergraph though which isn't saying much.

Who doubted Diaw? It was pretty obvious from the get go that he grasped the system.

Stephen Hawking could shoot .40% behind the arc

Unlkely Hawking could. Not even .40%. I would take that bet. Regarding Anderson, he is on his way to 40%, though. He's shooting 0%, so only 40% to go.

Not from a Spurs standpoint but from rest of NBA is what i actually meant.
