That was some truly horrible basketball to watch tonight. These Sixers are worse than any Clippers team I can remember from the 80s. Is it overly optimistic to think they could win 6 to 8 games this season?

They're tanking like you did to get the faggot Duncan. You've nary room.

You also have nary a room to use that epithet since your very own Magic, AC Green, and Kobe Bryant like to get dirt on their snake.

They prefer other snakes burrowing into their own holes tbh.

Didn't this same team lose something like 20 straight games a few years ago?

They're on pace to break their own record this year. What an abortion of a team.

With Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid, their future's brighter than the Lakers' is right now.

their future is a shitload of question marks.

- We don't know what Noel is, he's really raw.

- Embiid was a really good prospect but now is a big man who has already had back and foot issues.

- Michael Carter-Williams looks arite, but we don't really know if he's just a guy who put up numbers on a bad team, or actually a good player. 6'6 with point guard skills is intriguing though

- They'll have a really high lottery pick this year + miami's first round pick

- Dario Saric is chilling overseas

next to all those question marks is a roster full of complete shit. no veterans that know how to play or show the young guys the ropes. an inexperienced head coach. i'm not sold on philly's future at all

Why are the 76ers doing this? That's an honest question.

Feel terrible for Brett though. He should've stayed with Pop tbh. He's going to be a sitting duck next year and that's exactly why you should hold out for better run front offices. Bud has a good thing going in ATL btw.

Philly's future is bleak, Adam Silver and the league will make sure of that to prove a point.

This franchise has no direction whatsover

They just think tanking every year is gonna work

It's not the 80s and 90s, you dont have star players in the draft every year

They should trade those draft picks for good players who are in their prime, and sign some good blue collar veterans

The problem is that you are gonna draft best prospect. Top picks these days, arent ready product. You draft guy with best talent, which you are assessing. Then it`s all about developing this raw material to NBA player.

True. The Sixers have uncertainty, while the Lakers are a known commodity. We know Lin is shit. We know Wesley Johnson is a loser. We know Kobe sucks and doesn't give a fuck. He is just going to stay with the Stackhouse in Detroit game. We know Jordan Hill is shit. We know Boozer is one of the worst bigs in the league. We know they traded away their draft picks. I'll take the Sixers' uncertainty over the Lakers' certain failure for sure.

His +/- is actually really good. And if Embiid turns out to be any good, it will give Noel even move room to rove and block shots. I'm not saying it's a certainty, but they could become a pretty impressive defensive duo.

Better young talent (currently) but that is a stupid a statement as i have seen on her. even with those picks not one sane person would bet on sixers long-term over Lakers. Lakers have cap space, a great city and history wont see titles soon but in two years even if Embiid is good and healthy LAkers will be in a better place than the sixers ..

Lol. So many shit takes in this thread. What philly is doing is brilliant. They didn't just blow up their team and try and rebuild. They blew up their team and continue to get asset after asset by trading any decent players. It sucks for their fans but after several years they may be set for a good long time.

It wasn't meant as an assessment for the next hundred years. I'm saying the current 76er roster has a higher ceiling than the current Laker roster. Pretty obvious.

The thing is the top 2 picks are gonna be bigs so they're most likely gonna get another center...

Tanking is one thing, but you have to know when to stop...

That's only good because most of the other players on that team don't belong in the NBA. like if they took an NBA player out and put a Labrador retriever in there for five minutes the +/- would be astronomical but wtf does it matter

I bet if the Spurs announced they'd just acquired Noel, Spurstalk would be pretty excited about it.

The 76'ers have only 2 players that have more than 2 years experience in the NBA. Most of the team
are rookies or have 1 year. When you think that most players are one and done the inexperience in the
team is off the chart. Good thing Brett signed a guaranteed 4 year deal because this will be a work in progress.

How you figure? With Randle and one lottery pick?
