ESPN is taking away the Spurs vs. Knicks game from their line up on December 10. It will be replaced by Mavs vs. Pelicans.

Good work ... the Spurs play Utah the night before. ESPN tries to avoid another restgate.
Although its a home game where Pop rarely rests the Big Three at the same time.

ESPN shouldn't cancel. They could be depriving the viewing public of another Matt Bonner onslaught

People are finally figuring out that they shouldn't plan on the Spurs playing everyone on the second game of a b2b, even if the game is being televised nationally. Only took them 5 years.
:lol they're punishing Pop and saving the viewing public from being subjected to Ayers getting heavy minutes.

The Pelicans are getting more and more TV time, Davis is the next big thing.

It's 2014, there are other means of watching Spurs' games besides nationally televised ones.

Yet no playoffs appearances, Pelicans are only there to help Davis padding his stats.

He doesn't really work for TNT either, tbh.

The Lakers suck and are on plenty of times.

Lakers mainly play at 9:30, not many games are on at that time

Those people that are saying "big deal, and who cares" Do you guy know That thats allot of lost revenue to the organization when losing national coverage, especialy for a small market team. Yes it does hurt but its just how the Spurs are and I was surprised it would start taking this long to happen. Doubt it changes Pops mindset though. :lol

If Holt doesn't care then why should the fans.
More Bill and Sean :tu
Doubt it changes Pops mindset though. :lol
I assure you, it doesn't.
If Pop gave a damn, he wouldn't be sitting players in the first place.
I don't think this is punishing the Spurs as much as realizing that America doesn't want to watch the Knicks fail at running the triangle. At least we'll have local TV to watch Kawhi frustrate the hell out of Melo.

Saw the pelicans last night.
Davis and Anderson are solid, but Holliday, Gordon and especially Evans are hero ball brick layers and are impossible to watch.

I don't think you understand how revenue sharing works in the NBA, might want to look into it.

Pop will play everyone in that game until it's a safe lead, the Spurs must always inflict any possible punishment upon Derek Fisher.

I know. But theres no doubt the NBA wants Davis to become the new King.

Knicks are a complete joke. I'll get to see this game anyway since I'm in NY, but the Pels-Knicks is definitely the way to go.
