Let's break it down.

The Chiefs have scored 241, given up 171, thats a plus 70.
The Raiders...152/265,thats a minus 113

So we have the Chiefs at....plus 183

The last 4 games between the two.

at Oak...Chiefs 56 Raiders 31
at KC.....Chiefs 24 Raiders 7
at KC....Raiders 15 Chiefs 0
at Oak...Raiders 26 Chiefs 16

The last 10 ATS...Chiefs 9-2 last 11 at Oakland.

Ok on Thursday nights...

Straight up...Oak 1-4
Chiefs....5-3

On paper it looks like an easy Chiefs win. But.....this will be the Raiders big chance to show the country they don't suck as long and hard as everyone thinks. While the Chiefs are on the road in a short week vs a team they should destroy, next up.....Denver.

So we could see a jacked up Raider team vs a ho hum Chiefs team in this "spot".

spurraider21

Avante (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=33483) who do you believe will win the game?

The Raiders have a lot going for them in this "spot", an opponet they know reall well, at home on a Thursday night, a place home teams have won most these games. The Chiefs coming off the Seahawks, next up the Broncos.

This has a Raider upset written all over it.

So, I'm wishy washing with......it wouldn't shock me if somehow someway the Raiders pulled this off but....it probably won't happen.

It's pouring down rain right now in Oakland, and there is no let up in sight. One more thing.....if the Chiefs come to play the Raiders will get destroyed, my thing is will we see that Chiefs team?

Where the Raiders fuck up the most is those stupid change of possesion penalties, that penalty that costs them the ball.

And when you don't stand to win/lose over an outcome you can play....claims and beliefs. But, when it comes to you being involved it's....Chiefs wins!

A desperate team in their only chance to show the nation something vs a team looking at bigger things. All I can do is watch.

but it makes me feel better inside if i believe the raiders will win

The Raiders will need to...

score with special teams (not FG)
score on the defense
win the time of possesion
win the turnover battle

and it is suppose to rain tonight.

Not impossible.

McFadden confirmed starter (ugh) but Sparano said several times he plans to give Murray more run than we've seen. Tough defensive matchup though. I just hope we dont trail too much today... the Chiefs pass rush + the weather will make everything really ugly really quick.

yeah. DJ Hayden has been a really pleasant surprise in his return this year. he was awful as a rookie and was on the PUP with an ankle injury, missed all of camp/preseason. but he's jumped right in and played aggressively.

oh and Sio Moore has been a stud linebacker since last year. Mack complements him very well. they just need a stud middle backer, Burris is horrible

Like I told you will we see a motivated Chiefs team in this "spot". So far no we aren't. But we should see something different in the second half.

There is a real good reason a 0-10 team is only a 7 point dog.

I didn't laugh off anything, I just didn't need to be told about the obvious.

Dude, this was what is known as a....trap...game, ok? That's a game vs a weakling stuck between games vs important rivals.

Do you know anything at all about the NFL?

Smith is a checkdown artist who refuses to throw to a wide receiver. In a passing league, he's never thrown for more than 3,313 yards in a season - meanwhile, actual franchise guys' yards are in the 4000's and even 5000's year in, year out. His career record when the opponent scores 24 points or more is 3-35-1, suggesting he can't bail his defense out when they have a bad game like real franchise quarterbacks do. He is so mediocre that your fellow Niner fans wanted him benched for David Carr and was actually benched for the likes of Troy Smith and J.T. O'Sullivan. Basically, Smith is average at best, and you're an old faggot.

Not a fan of the facts are amigo?

Try...

115 TD;s and only 74 INTS

60.2 completion %

82.3 passer rating

and he is among the winningest QB's ever.

And, all us Niner fans would trade Kaepernick in a minute to get him back.

The guy plays on teams where the running back is the star, what you really haven't noticed that? His job isn't to throw the ball all around....OBVIOUSLY. His job is to win football games and who has won more currently playing? Yep...Brady/Manning.

You don't know anything do ya?

When you're a game manager whose coaches have to place severe constraints on and you're petrified of taking a risk, that tends to inflate your completion percentage and passer rating and deflate your interceptions. I'd gladly accept more interceptions as a result of actually testing defenses with the deep ball and throwing to wide receivers instead of curling up in the fetal position and throwing checkdowns to wide open running backs and tight ends.

and he is among the winningest QB's ever.
Out of currently active starting quarterbacks alone, Smith is only 14th in career wins. And that's not even including all the other QB's in history.

The guy plays on teams where the running back is the star, what you really haven't noticed that?
And why do you think the running back is the star? Oh yeah, because they don't have a franchise quarterback.

His job isn't to throw the ball all around....OBVIOUSLY.
Exactly, which is why he is mediocre at best.

His job is to win football games and who has won more currently playing? Yep...Brady/Manning.

No you were not obviously talking about "at his stage of a career," otherwise you would have mentioned that to begin with. What really happened is that you threw out some crap about Smith being "one of the winningest quarterbacks of all time" without checking the stats, and because your ego doesn't allow you to ever admit you were wrong, you're now moving the goalposts.

yes, yes, and yes.

the raider fanbase has always shown woodson love. he had a rally greet him when he landed in oakland to meet with the team a couple of years ago, before he ultimately signed. it was a shame we never got to see him paired with Nnamdi Asomugha once he hit his stride. that would have been the best CB combo by a mile. they did have some good secondaries in green bay though

brown's stats speak volumes, he's as productive as anybody but spent most of his career on mediocre teams with subpar qb's. and as for Branch, i dont see how you justify Lynn Swann if Branch is out

Bo Jackson was a great HS decathlete while at Alabama, he won state two or three times and did it without ever running the 1500. He was also a 9.5 100 yard guy and ran a 10.33*** while at Auburn. He's in with this little gang...

Herschel Walker 10.23
Marcus Dupree 9.5

First off there is a world of difference from a 4.12 and a 4.18 in a distance that short. I know alot of track guys like myself out there and nobody is buying that 4.12.

It's like Flo Jo's 100m world record of 10.49, it was wind aided and it's real obvious as we see the ladies hair blowing in the wind while in the blocks. But somehow the wind gage missed it.

Would you believe Bo Jackson wouldn't make the All Time Oakland Raiders 100m?

He's gotta take the kid gloves off of Mallett and air it out. That safety screamed predictability.

Great call on 4th by O'Brien. Kubes would have punted.

Houston is hanging tough after looking like they might get blown out early. They get the ball to start the half too. Need to pick up the pace like they did against the Browns. The heat seems to be getting to Cincy with the roof open.

At this point there is literally no excuse or reason to keep letting the GOAT TE run up the middle of the field untouched imo
