It's usually Parker, leonard go to the corner..

If it's kawhi, Parker just seat back..

Just wet my pants tbh..This is SA in the next 5 years.

but i agree, if Parker can hit that 3 and feed Kawhi, he'll take the team and his game to another place.

Parker - 21pts, 6ast, 8/16fg
Leonard - 21pts, 13rebs, 8/12fg

Stop complaining about who's getting what touches. Parker has been setting up Kawhi for open 3's all season and he's finally starting to make them. Give them time to build chemistry and they'll be unstoppable, quit complaining and making threads about every thought that comes through your head.

Passing the ball to shoot a 3 with 3.1 seconds remaining on the shot clock is not my idea of sharing the ball and building Leonard game.

Leonard isn't a spot shooter, we saw many of those passes to the corner but didn't watch a lot of passes to create a mismatch, to let Kawhi run pick and roll, just a pass to put Leonard in position to succeed offensively.

I have no idea why Spursfans gets so mad when a spurs player gets criticized. :lol

I have criticized Kawhi numerous times...

"we won the game, shut up"..

TP really at this point of his career is only a top 10 PG...More often, he is a negative despite the points.

Spurs fans..

Tony is not nearly my favorite Spurs player, but your anti-TP posts aren't comporting with reality. TP is one of the best PG in the NBA. He's leading the league in 3pt FPG. And, he also played very unselfishly tonight.

I don't like curry, but I think him and Lowry are the two best PG's in the last 15 games.

every serious analyst has said Parker is the reason we won the ship and attended the last 2 finals. He has given up his ego for the TEAM and knows usually plays decoy vs defenses concentrated on him. he just dishes dimes and collects Conference and NBA titles.

sure when his team fucked up (especially ginobili) he came in with 1 minute to go and put us up 5 in the game 6 clincher with 30 seconds to go. Then Pop and Manu crashed the bus...

currently, he is bored and working on a 3pt shooting world record. :tu

There is a reason for not having a letter "D" in Curry's name, TBH.

Parker has been the head of the snake since 2012, but it appears that Kawhi is ready to take over. I don't care whoever the main guy is as long as we're winning.

Kawhi has not faced a defense concentrated on him yet in the regular season. Much less in the playoffs. This team will still go as far a MVParker takes em

Kawhi, outplayed and won against a prime Lebron last June.

Kawhi is a spot up 3pt shooter. Leonard hasn't shown that he can run the p&r consistently create for others. He can knock down open mid range jumpers off the dribble. He's averaging 14 ppg and can't hit the side of a barn from 3. If he was knocking them down at his career average (he'd need to go 14-37 for .378 instead of 10-37 for 28%) he'd be averaging approx. 15.1 ppg.

I think OP tries to make some of Kawhis struggles on Parker. To be fair Parker does miss Leonard on occasion (especially when Kawhi leaks out or has a mismatch) but an aggressive Parker only makes life easier for Kawhi.

Kawhi is a spot up 3pt shooter.
Even if Pop tried so hard to put him into Spurs system-wing-3-shooting in his first two seasons, Kawhi isn't a spot up 3pt shooter.

Leonard hasn't shown that he can run the p&r consistently create for others.
How many times you see Kawhi run the p&r to say that? The team need to explore that option.
Anyway, Kawhi has improved a lot his playmaker skills this season, his passing and court vision seem so good.

Agree, his mid J was already beginning to look dangerous last season.
But I think his blurry vision doesn't allow him to get rhythm in shooting, he'll alternate good shooting nights with bad nights this season.

I don't have any expectations about his 3's this season. Kawhi said he's still not 100% and his vision issues won't heal until summer.
That's why I mentioned the pick and roll as a good way to involve him offensively and not exacerbate his poor-shooting-vision-issues.

Meh..

Parker never run a post up play for Kawhi..He prefers BOBO and the ball out of Kawhi's hands..It's all on Kawhi.
