Only 4 teams over .500??? Meanwhile the West has 10 teams over .500, including all 5 teams in the southwest Division! :lol

Surely the Cavs will pull it together in the 2nd half of the season, but outside of them, Washington, Chicago (if Rose can stay healthy more than a week), and Toronto, the rest of the East is a joke. Time for the league to contract. Milwaukee should be the 1st franchise to fold, along with Minnesota (just to keep it at 14 teams per conference). Take those players and divide them up among the Eastern Conference teams so the Finals don't end in another blowout. With the Thunder out, it's the Spurs 'ship to lose again.

This is a continuing embarrassment to the NBA that a sub East 500 team make the playoffs.
It would be more fair if all the division winners in each conference make the playoffs.
After that take the best teams from both conferences to fill out the rest of the playoff
teams. Think how good each game would be......

I know this idea has been tossed around recently by the NBA, but they really need to go ahead with it this season. Gonna be pathetic when 3 or more teams from the East make the playoffs with sub-.500 records.

Is an improvement from last year.

Everyone but the Heat and two others were over .500 I believe. At least most of the playoff position teams are above it this year.

I dont know what can be done to help the East. Short of decosntructing the whole consference, what can you do?
