Is RAM for notebooks different than regular PC ram?
I feel as though this is a dumb question I should know the answer to, but I'm curious none the less.

When I upgraded my computer last year with a 512 stick, I remember there were certain ones designated for laptops and desktops. The salesguy at Bestbuy mistakenly gave me one meant for a laptop at first...I was at the register before I noticed the "For laptops" label...if that at all answers your question.

The form factor is smaller for "SODIMMs" you'll find in noteboks -- if you want to be completely sure to get RAM that will work in your machine, go to crucial.com and use their configuration wizard.

He has to stand on his toes for the rams.
Yes and no.
Good answer.
Most notebooks use SODIMMS that are 72 or 144 pin while desktops use 168 pin dimms, however some barebones laptops use standard 168 pin dimms.

you might wanna check and make sure your fulx adapter has the proper voltage resistance or you could burn our you mougle links, also the hard case mainframe might just tend to surge during the tps transferance and that could lend itsself to a vast array of sub-and counter sub-modulus arcing...and as we all know that is just a stones throw away from full blown mid-transendentalism along with high freq. coster switching...and dont even get me started on the support beam structure and audio soundproofing...i dont know what im talking about...i need to get off the sauce. :depressed
