I wish Splitter would quit being a faggot already

Pop should just sit all starters + Manu. Joseph/Beli/Anderson/Bonner/Baynes is probably enough to shit on the 76ers tbh

Extreme case of vaginitis or (vaginosis) spread to his calf and back.

Its called Rose-itis I think

Since two of our 3 PGs will be out, and Manu being old, hopefully we see some of KA initiating the offense.

We will drop the first game to the Sixers this year with all those guys out, damn. They will get their first win.

Splitter is really making himself look like a giant faggot, tbh. We're never going to allow him to play in another summer league game ever again.

Unlikely, but the inevitable cliff-jumping threads following the loss would be entertaining for sure.

Cojo playing, Tony out, Patty still out.

Definitely a potential trap game. Perhaps Pop uses this game to tinker with the roster, and risk a loss as a learning moment.

i hope they win obviously -

Would love to see Pop throw KA to the wolves and have him run point tonight. I can't imagine he'll do it though.

Stop bitching about Splitter ... he started slow with the Spurs because of several minor stuff, but the last two years he did not have any niggling injuries. This guy wants to play, but right now there is no reason to press it. I bet this is frustrating as well if you just do not know why you have a pain in your leg.

Sweet. This means I'll finally get to see Timmy play against the Nets :) He hasn't played there the past 2 years.

“I’m very upset and stressed because I can’t play. I just want to play, I just want back to the court. It’s a boring injury, but is the kind of thing you need to have patience. That’s the word this time. I suffered the calf injury in the end of September, during the second day of preseason. Then I tried to re-train and felt a lot of pain. I ended up recovering and I played a game (against Hawks), but during the game I felt pain and I gave up. From there, I follow doing the treatment and tests, but I still cannot get back.

I don’t know when I will return. I do not know if one week, two weeks or three weeks. I do examinations and physiotherapy. We looked to see if the problem was the back, we are trying to get it over with this. But they saw that there is no problem in the back and that is even just in the calf. I’m practicing. I can’t practice with the team, but I’m doing rehabilitation every day. I just want to solve this. I want to play.”

No Tim, no Tony, no problem right? Manu and Kawhi got this all wrapped up. Playing an 0-15 team, we should be able to win by 35 points behind Leonard and Many, right?

why the fuck are so many people angry at Splitter not playing? Let him heal so he can play well at the right time, why do you guys value December bball so much.
A healthy Spurs team but 8th seed > 1 seed Spurs with one guy hurt/injured. Stop overvaluing the regular season and one extra game at home in a playoff series.
I hope at some point this year Spurs give manu a month off just to be fresh for the late season strech

Spurs will still have the 4 best players on the court tbh, and after MCW and Noel you have to go through the entire Spurs roster before another 76er is even debatable

Man, you can just feel the frustration through those words, poor dude. Splitter's injury is aggravating (pun intended), but he's just got to rehab til he is pain free and then practice with the team. Thankfully the schedule is soft right now (except for upcoming memphis game), so Baynes can continue developing and Spurs will be better off for that, and hopefully not miss Splitter too badly. Spurs "fans" need to chill out with the angst and ridicule.

I feel the same. We need the guy to be healthy for the playoffs. He's our best Dirk/LA defender. Nov/Dec games... who cares.

Problem with Tiago is his minutes are added to the team total, ie one Tim Duncan.

We don't want TD averaging more than 30 minutes.

Playoff HC can matter at times, that one game can become a game 7 you have to win. Spurs won't be an 8th seed but I agree I would rather them be healthy as an 8th seed than one guy down as the #1 seed, obviously that is true. HC can matter though in key games like 5 and 7, those games you usually want at home.

kawhi would've done this if he had made both of free throws at the very end.
