The real problem was Matt "I'm a 3 point specialist but can't hit a 3 to save my life in a meaningful game" Bonner. Fuck that red headed bastard.

Matty has been playing well the last couple games... but yeah, he just couldn't hit from 3 tonight... lots of guys couldn't hit a shot period, tbh

Call me crazy but I don't remember Matty Brick ever hitting a clutch 3 when we really needed it.

Game 1 of the 2011 series against Memphis tbh.

Me neither, but his dribble and floater have been money the last few games, tbh... you just can't win a lot of games with two of your top guys going 6-23 through 3 quarters, tbh

Don't remember so almost like it didn't happen, tbh.

Red socket had lots of open looks and missed everything, even Kawhi had a bad night (blurry vision or not).

Matty Ice's finest hour. Too bad Enrique fucked it up with his defense.

His floater/hook is money. His 3? Not so much these days

It's funny bc I thought the same thing so I looked up his stats to confirm just how bad he's been shooting it. Turns out he was shooting 44% from three before tonight (down to 40% now)--which is a pretty good % for most players. Shows just how much we've come to expect from the Red Mamba tbh.

When did a December 3rd game against the Brooklyn Nets become a meaningful game?

Matt doesn't sit on the bench and suddenly decide "I'm going in and shoot some threes". Pop puts him in to extend the defense to open the lane, but he has to hit one or two to get the point across to teams. It worked well against the Thunder in the playoffs last year, but you win some, you lose some. Matt is spent, just in cruise control until he retires.

If you don't really need it, it's not clutch.

Did someone really type that a December road game against Brooklyn is a "big game" ?

Bonner hit several clutch 3's in the 2013 run tbh
