Director Sam Mendes also revealed the new car (Aston Martin DB10) and full cast: Andrew Scott (Moriarty on BBC's Sherlock as Denbigh), Christoph Waltz (playing a character named Oberhauser — not, as previously rumored, classic villain Blofeld), Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci, and Léa Seydoux.

Does Monica Bellucci still look good? I thought the black chick in Skyfall was cute.

You didn't like how Anton Chigurgh played a gay Joker in the last movie?

Lol. He actually did a fine acting job there, imo.

But I prefer Dr Evil

awesome poster. still need to see Skyfall. great cast though I'm unfamiliar with Andrew Scott. Mel Gibson nailed it when he mentioned on Passion of the Christ, they tried to make Monica Bellucci uglier with dirt and she was still gorgeous. almost a perfect female imo.

FIFY.
ugh, saw that one in the theaters. a quarter walked out from the head bashing scene, a quarter left from the Kobe sequence. i stuck around per par, brutal movie, will never see it again but I somewhat respected it.

The fire extinguisher to head sound made me cringe more than anything in that movie, thunk

yep. that was the first movie in forever that made me look away at parts. Also bad was that droning noise throughout the sequence, supposedly some anti-riot shit the cops use but altered for the soundtrack.

James Bond is one of the top 5 lamest things humans have ever invented. Casino Royale is the only Bond movie I could tolerate, and even then only barely so.

Daniel Craig has brought back the creditably of the Bond series since Sean Connery.
Daniel makes a great Bond...He has brought back the ruthlessness that license to kill agent has. The
first 15 minutes of the movie now has more action then the whole movie when that
non-believable Roger Moore had.

that's pretty much how i've felt about it since the last 3 films came out. i think its gotta be all or nothing, and i'm not gna invest 60 hours in a film series :lol

when i was younger i played the video games, but thats about it. in the meantime, i'll be happy with the murican versions, die hard and mission impossible

Well tbh with James Bond it's very much "if you've seen one you've seen then all". Something threatens the Union Jack, Bond is on the case, some goofy villain pops up, Bond bangs two bitches (not at the same time), one of those bitches double crosses him, he's in a tough spot, he uses some idiotic futuristic technology to save his ass, the end. Literally every Bond movie I've seen has followed this exact formula. I really don't understand how people have fallen for the exact same shit for 40-something years now.

yeah, i know they're not all exactly sequels to one another. but eh, just apathetic at this point. i'm cool with totally unreasonable/unrealistic action flicks in general though

The second bitch typically gets murdered... That's almost always true.

I haven't seen many Bond films lately, but I saw Skyfall and enjoyed it. Perhaps I'll give this one a go as well.

I totally agree. Pierce Bronson was a softy playing Bond and too me was the worst Bond. Craig brings out that ruthless, downright viciousness that the Bond character had been lacking with that wuss Bronson. Plus they still managed to slide in his lust for alcohol and women that always gets him into trouble. They got it right with Craig.

i have never seen a james bond movie
i didn't even think that was possible, but then a lot of US/UK stuff isn't shown in the Middle East. I had an ex who told me she never watched them either because her mother considered them evil and immoral. That always made me feel bad because I was raised on them.

Mono is right that they are formulaic, but it's a very entertaining formula, great comfort food imo. It's basically a guy's fantasy, have the best cars and gadgets, bang a plethora of pussy in exotic locations, kick all kinds of ass.

I've enjoyed almost all of them, even the ones that blow like Moonraker. I'm also a huge John Barry fan and the series has yet to recover from his departure and death.

My top 5....
1.On Her Majesty's Secret Service (if only Connery had done it :bang)
2. The Living Daylights (Dalton is the second best Bond imho)
3. From Russia With Love
4. For Your Eyes Only
5. Casino Royale

HM:
The Spy Who Loved Me (Barbara Bach :jack), Goldfinger, Goldeneye

I had thought about starting a thread on best Bond themes. That's a whole separate debate.

Casino Royale really is the best Bond film by a wide margin. Skyfall was overrated, Quantum was straight up boring, and the rest aren't all that interesting. Bond is really just Batman in a tuxedo when it comes down to it.
