12.8 PPG 7.8 RPG, 20.3 Per

If you miss out on Gasol, would you be opposed going after Amare for a 3 yr deal?

Meh 3 years seems too long. How's his defense nowadays? How much per year?

^Say MLE. He wont take minimum and he's still serviceable. He sucks defensively, but that's why you guys have Pop.

Eh, consider it. But probably not. Def not at the MLE level.

The biggest issue are his knees... They're basically uninsurable. It's a lot of money for a lot of risk. I don't think the Spurs would bite on that. Plus when Tim retires the Spurs will primarily need a good defensive anchor and rebounder. Amare isn't that.

Not even worth the MLE. minimum or fuck it.

Fuck no. They won't have the MLE this summer and are likely to be trying to fill Duncan's and Ginobili's shoes. Of course they're not going to succeed at that with only about $15 million or so to spend, but they can do a hell of a lot better than a washed up Stoudemire who didn't play any defense when he was the alpha monkey, much less now with no knees.

I'm still trying to figure out the Sean Marks avy. Why Rsx, just why?

If you got the right PG (like prime Nash) spoon feeding him the ball he'd be very productive tbh, but in NY the best PG they've got him is Calderon and it's only Calderon's first season in NY.

It would be a serious mistake if they do. He's beyond done. Trust me.

No, that 20.3 PER is impressive though.

I would do this. Amare can play both positions and could be a nice pairing with both Diaw and Splitter. Of course not as a first option, but I would take him. 12-14M/3 years would be really nice. If we miss out on Gasol(which is highly likely) who else would you want as a starting big man? Boozer? LMA isn't going anywhere, so?

Brook Lopez would be nice too, but he has a PO, just like Hibbert.

I wouldn't mind Amare for the Clippers, but not for a 3 yr/MLE. He could still produce and give our bench tremendous production.
