Can't hit an open shot. Untimely turnovers on possessions where momentum is basically about to seesaw the Spurs way. Perfect way to lose to a team like the Jazz.

It's still a game as long as Turnobili sits.

Robz4000
12-09-2014, 11:05 PM
Dagger. This team could lose to the Jazz and Knicks in back-to-back games. Kirby also has his potential MJ-passing game Friday and the league will prolly fix that one for him.

Last year, we were beating the Nets and Jazz of the world and losing to the best teams out West. Would rather have it this way.

And no Parker is bad enough, but no Parker + Mills is painful.

timtonymanu

I've seen 16 show on the shot clock and the officials make that call before in other games. Being that it was at the end of the game with all these possible scenarios to happen, the officials should have known that the eight second rule still exists. It's a blown call.

Not gonna win many games shooting 4-20 from beyond the arc. Also, Joseph plays 30 mins and doesn't record a single assist - mediocre production for a point guard.

Knicks are going to come out fired up tomorrow, too. And the fact Duncan probably won't play means it could be another trap game.

We can only get away with CoJo as the only PG for so long. We need TP and/or Patty bad...

Why would you want three PG's at your disposal when you can have seven bigs? It's ironic that the team that relies more heavily on every player on the roster than any other, decided to a spot in the garbage for some reason.

Between the law of averages being in the Jazz' favor, their motivation level clearly being higher and the Spurs' injuries and lack of continuity given the constant state of flux to the rotation, I'm not the last bit surprised with this loss and wouldn't be surprised if they follow it up with another one tomorrow.

Even considering the lack of continuity and motivation though, the late game execution against mediocre to worse competition has been poor all season. It's unacceptable to have four such losses already.

Standings don't account for should haves. Losing home court advantage to them or the Grizzlies wouldn't be the worst thing in the world but we can't lose it to the Mavs or Rockets, Bulls or Cavs. Luckily the Thunder will be climbing the rest of the way.

His return is probably going to slow them down. As much as people criticize him, he's obviously better than a fringe rotation player, but it'll be difficult to make him more than that without changing the dynamic of the team. Him and Speights together would also make an awful defensive combination.

Either way, the Spurs and Thunder both have a level the Warriors can't reach. I must say though, they do seem legitimately better than the Clippers, which I wasn't expecting.

Not that much so being we sent him out to retirement a loser in the playoffs and he retired :). You know though it would not shock me if they won in SA tomorrow, would suck but Fisher seems to have some kind of mystique at times when he enters that damn building.

Well obviously there is no question they are alot better than the Jazz, nobody said otherwise. Which is why a loss like this is one of those joke earlier in the year losses that the Spurs routinely get until they can find their groove.
