Actually that was taken out of context like cheap journalists do for hits. Bosh said a lot of nice things about the Spurs in his most recent interview, half of the interview was about the Spurs!
The full quote is:
Ever since seeing the Spurs play — you look at the Spurs, and I mean no offense to them, but you wouldn’t be like, “Oh, that’s a championship team,” just by looking at ’em. But they will run you into the ground. Because they buy into their system, and they do it together.

Yeah, he actually was very complimentary of the Spurs. It's a good read, and Bosh is clearly impressed. The last lines of the interview are him tipping his hat to the better team.

Bosh: "Yeah. You have to trust each other. The Spurs trust each other to the fullest. It’s the best basketball I ever saw. And I told them that after they beat us. That’s why I wasn’t really that bummed out. I was like, Man, if I’m gonna get beat, it’s by you guys. I can respect that.

Wish he would have opted in last summer. Would have been my top 2015 choice.

Chris grab the rebound and passed that lead to the Ray Allen 3. Fuck Bosh and anyone who doesn't have a problem with him. Srs.

Exactly, and he was looking at the other two squads to come home to Texas. Perfect fit with the competent outside shooting + better defense than given credit for (ability to guard 4's) + efficiency.

Bosh said the 2014 Spurs were the best team he has ever seen, tbh, IIRC(he was asked last June/July about it)..Lebron said something similar, too..

Bosh was quoted as saying, "They played the best basketball I've ever seen." The quote was on the cover of the 6/23 issue of SI (the "Masterpiece" edition). :hat

The players make the system, not the other way around... No wonder free agents never come here. Popovich gets all the credit when a player plays good

Bosh should've gone back to Toronto tbh.

That would have been scary as fuck. I don't think the Raptors had the capspace though

I think I read somewhere that he doesn't want to play in TX, not even with being from here. Staying with creaky Wade in a non-title situation instead of bolting for HOU with younger stars might lend credence to that.

Think he would have left for the Spurs. Much better situation than Houston in the sense that he would have been the guy while also having a title-winning supporting cast.

Thinking of Bosh post TD and Manu... Now that would be a decent start for a new era.
