I grew to like AlphaBe, he just doesn't give a fuck :lol Specially since he hasnt been a contender in years

in this era of extensive media training, being super careful about your image and colluding, he grew into me. Him and Manu are the last alphas of the game, in their own characteristics.

Kobe, please make history today. You deserve to do it against your biggest rival, and I know you respect the hell out of us. I hope the bucket is on Splitter, an extremely tough defender, to make it more special.

If Kawhi plays, he and Danny will prevent him from scoring 30+ ...

oh, and I hate Kobe and do not want him to pass Jordan ... but since only a career ending injury can prevent this, I think here is nothing to be done about this ...

How about a dunk on Tammy Duncan? After which Duncan drops on the floor holding his right knee that results in an ACL tear, a career ending injury, tbh.

Danny and Kawhi are going to shut him down, and he's going to flip out on his teammates, tbh. Get your popcorn ready. :corn:

The real question should be how many shots does he chuck up tonight knowing he's on national TV and this is his shot to pass MJ in front of the whole country?

That's the real question. 32 shots to reach 31 points?

If he only needs 31 points i can absolutely see it happening tonight. On national tv against the champs or sunday at minnesota? Which would the league ooffice want to see more

DG is going to be in foul trouble in the 1st quarter, especially after he completely dominated Kobe in the first game:lol..

I was thinking along the same lines. I'm cool with it as long as he takes at least 30 shots..

Hope he has 30, goes to the line on the last play of a Spurs blow out win with a chance to get 31 and 32, and bricks both.

Screw Kobe, no way I want to see him pass MJ at the AT&T Center

It'd be hilarious after Kobe's latest meltdown if no one on the Lakers' passed him the ball. Totally freeze him out.

I say he takes 40+ shots.

DJR210
12-12-2014, 03:27 PM
I'd say it would be amazing..that means Kobe would need to take 55+ shots to get his 31, which will help against a potentially short handed Spurs team.

I gaurentee u that if he gets to 30 points hes gonna drive up to duncan to try to break jordans record on him. Kobe wouldnt have it any other way

Not cool at all. The Spurs should be motivated to shut him down tbh.

EVAY
12-12-2014, 04:50 PM
As I said in the game thread, most fun for me would be to watch somebody like Marco or Danny go off on a three point tear and outscore Kobe and everybody else and set an NBA record for three pointers in a game. Pop wouldn't let it happen, but that is what would be sweet to me...to let him get his, but steal his thunder with a role player.

12-12-2014, 05:09 PM
I am a fan of Michael Jordan.
And I salute Kobe.
But, I want the Spurs to defend Jordan's record tonight.
Let's give Kobe some more time to sweat it out. :madrun:

Do it elsewhere black mamba. :rollin.

Breaking the record at Minnesota while the Lakers lose to the awful Wolves team with Kobe shooting 8/24 (or something like that) would be the perfect scenario imo as a Kobe hater... I'd love it!

He'll be chucking tonight that's for sure.

lofds
12-12-2014, 07:46 PM
He will get it since he'll do everything possible to but everyone in the world will see him ball hogging and chucking up bricks. It will be the ugliest 31 you've ever seen.

Hope Danny and Kawhi make him wait till the next game.

12-12-2014, 08:19 PM
All I care about is the Spurs getting the win. Don't care if Kobe chucks up 40 shots.

Venti Quattro
12-12-2014, 08:26 PM
Quality thread. :tu

Probably Kobe won't pass the Jordan mark tonight though, who knows he might be limited to less than 20 points. But he'll surely get it next game.

But to get it against a rival whom he's tussled in playoff battles for years would make it extra special, imo tbh.
