Good young player, and he deserves the money. Based on what a lot of corners have been getting thats actually a pretty solid bargain. He will basically inherit Welker's salary.

Still, this upcoming offseason is going to present them with some problems, with a handful of key players needing new deals. After the Harris deal, they will be about 30 million below the projected cap with the following starters becoming free agents:

Demaryius Thomas
Julius Thomas
Terrance Knighton
Nate Irving
Orlando Franklin

not worth including Welker in that list, he's not a priority at all

Probably going to go hard for Demaryius and Julius. After that, then Knighton and they'll say goodbye to Irving, Franklin, and Welker.

i have no solid args tbh, but committing that much money to just two corners, always ends up backfiring..
