So when one wishes to get insight from the star of the night, Nick Young, does this hurt?

Man, you know, I’ve just got to do what I’ve got to do when I’ve got to do it,” Young said. “So basically, I’m just doing what I’ve got to do every time that I step on the court to do what I’ve got to do. You feel me?”

I thought that was a fabricated quote. If Nick Young actually said that, it makes me even more pissed about Friday night. Cocky, brain dead morons that act like they won the NBA championship with some of the most selfish play I've ever seen annoy me to no end. Being Jamal Crawford on steroids is NOT a good thing. I don't care if his bad shots went in, he has no clue. That guy gets you beaten way more often than he helps - a volume shooter with a 42% career FG%. In the last seven or eight years, Nick Young played on one team that won 50% of its games - the 2011-2012 clippers. I think that was the year the Spurs took them to the woodshed in the Playoffs. BTW, the Spurs played in more playoff games in 2014 than Nick Young has played in his entire life. Let that soak in.......

In the case of Friday night, I'm just sorry coach Pop took the usual long term view on his lineups by holding out Leonard. He would have put Nick Young in his back pocket just like he did Jeremy Rin the first meeting against Mexico's team. I'm just hope the Lakers are on the schedule in March and April when the Spurs hopefully have their roster together.
