He's a complete nerd and really wants the Star Wars box set thing that has all the movies and extras and stuff (He made a point of showing it to me....). It's $90, more than I spent on the Spurs tickets. What else or should I get him anything else?

The xmas gift I bought for my lunar goddess is a tiny pendant that I purchased online on Friday which was delivered home yesterday. I planned to buy her something worth 200-300 but only ended up paying about $150 for the gift. I'm assuming you'd rather be with a guy who likes going to an event/experience vs. someone who would be upset that he didn't get a boxed set of DVDs. So get him the tickets (and maybe a couple of beers at the game), and see how he reacts. If he's worth your time, he will appreciate that you put some thought into the gift and went outside the box.

If he's upset that you didn't get him the Star Wars boxed set, which is something he can just as easily buy for himself, then you can decide if that's the kind of person you want to be in a longer term relationship with.
