The quarterback is the most important player on the team and has the biggest impact on winning and losing, unless you have a Seahawks type team that's fucking stacked with a game manager like Struggle Wilson under center.

I'm not mad. Cam is simply on that status with few QB's that have to carry their team. That's why so much is expected out of him. He's supposed to carry the team. Good to see these guys recognize his importance :tu
The playoffs wins and inevitable SB will come.

Anderson has carried the team to a 2-0 record, yet you slurp Cum "3-8-1" Newton.

You just made my fucking point of American Football. Doesn't matter if you have "Struggle Wilson" or Superman Cam you need a great TEAM to win playoff games. Every position is important.

Not everybody has the luxury of a stacked defense and a game manager on a rookie contract. Once Struggle gets paid, Seattle is fucked.
More quarterbacks with more playoff wins than Cum Newton: Babe Parilli, Jim "Chrissy" Everett, Kordell Stewart, Chris Chandler

Difference is, Brady actually became a legit franchise QB later in his career because unlike Struggle, he isn't scared of the pocket.

Superman Cam's o-line is the weakest in the NFL. That truck did a better job protecting him than his o-line has done all year. And that's a fact.

He had a great O-line up until this year and still couldn't win a single playoff game. By the way, real quarterbacks don't need 100% perfect O-line protection, they simply adapt by getting the ball out quicker.
Too bad Cum can't even win as many playoff games as Chris Miller or Jay Fiedler.

Cam Newton is simply a middle of the pack QB at the NFL level. Talking from an historical aspect.
Who here is familiar with Jim Hart? He's in the top 25 all time when it comes to TD/yards. Dave Kreig in the top 20 all time in TD/yards. Cam Newton is far more talented than those two.
Once upon a time it was.."it takes these guys about 5 years to figure it out". I think that still holds true today.

He also got one in Washington in which he only threw for 41 yards and 1 interception :lmao I think that is the NFL record for fewest yards passing in a playoff victory

Stupid missed tackle on Michael Haynes who took it to the house. Also missed opportunites in the first half to get a bigger lead.
But the Eagles loss the next season was way worse. 20-7 lead entering the 4th and they scored 29 straight points to win easily. What a fucking joke!

The saddest part is that the Panthers had the 2nd best defense in the NFL last season in both ypg and ppg. It takes a special kind of suck for a qb to lose a playoff game with that type of defense.
