We know they missed a travel on Gasol's 3, we left 14 points on the free throw line, and without Baynes' leadership on the defensive glass we gave up 13 offensive boards...

but i think we need to look a little deeper. We lost by 1 point.

Austin Daye checked in for 1 minute. had a +/- of -1. That ended up being the difference. When will Pop learn?

Yes when will Pop learn that he should foul!!!!?? He need to stop being primitive not doing primitive plays when you need them, it's all his arrogant, like also keeping that beard, his arrogant could kill us again...

Pop is the reason. Why play Kawhi when sitting Manu and TD against the Blazers (especially since he wasn't 100%)? Spurs likely beat the Grizz with Kawhi without having the wear of 3 OTs. Now the team is at risk of also losing the game on Friday (depends on how TD and Manu recover from this one and if Kawhi will be able to go).

Just poor player management imo. Either go for the win or don't, don't half ass it.

Baynes leadership on the glass:lol

Spurs out rebounded Memphis 60-58 and 19-13 on the offensive glass.

we let zbo go left all night, but i think popovich did that on purpose only to shut it down in the playoffs if we meet

13 of 27 at the stripe. PATHETIC!!! We should've won by 8-10 points easily!

Danny Green open in the 4th quarter several times and NO ONE would get him the ball. You ride the hot hand till it cools. He hit 7 3's. A couple in the 4th and then nothing. Why?? No one would look at him. Sometimes I wish Pop would call time out and set up a play with 10 seconds left instead of just letting it play out. I know it allows the opponent to set up their defense but it allows the Spurs to set up a half court play where the Spurs excel.

Plus no TP, KL or PM. Cant wait till the Spurs are actually healthy.

Yeah, Timmy missed 10 of them. Good thing I didn't watch this game, or I might be shopping for a new TV set. :lol

FTs and some pathetic passes that made them look like a high school team.

Was the Gasol three a clean look or just a crazy throw it up shot like Nick Youngs? I did not see game - too mad to watch any of the "Highlights".

Its a game that will hurt at the end of the season again. We have three or four thrown away games now. Please let's get a full roster in the next month. The full group can get rolling, but geez I hope we see it in the next 30 days.

Gasol's 3 was as legit as Vince Carter's GW 3 in the playoffs.

Diaw throwing the ball away did the most damage tbh.

Diaw throwing the ball away did the most damage tbh.

Diaw was a bit of a mixed bag from what I saw but not having KL hurt our closing unit. Diaw had to bang with Zbo on the block (he's okay but not as good as Bonner and Splitter) but his 3's and his passing ability can offset some of the offense ZBo might have. Randolph killed us on the glass, especially in the OTs. Thats really where Leonard would have been a big help, considering Leonard's a better rebounder than Diaw and helps Duncan crash the glass.

Bobo did hit some massive 3's though, which also should boost his confidence from behind the arc.

There you go. Under normal circumstances, they don't get down as much as they did and don't leave points on the line down the stretch. Game like that at home wouldn't even go to OT. But it did, and at least it's now and not in April.
