"We allowed them to get too many open looks," [Lebron] said. "This is a well-coached team that we played. It reminds you of playing San Antonio, that system. They move the ball and get you in uncomfortable positions."

Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer, a longtime Spurs assistant before taking over the Hawks last season, was understandably pleased with the performance.

"It's a great team win," he said. "You go up and down the roster, different guys contributing at different times. That's what we're trying to build, is a team."

Good to see Bud doin' well over there in the East. Glad he didn't pull an Avery and go to the fucking Mavericks. :lol

Did they fix any of this yet

-- it's 70 pct black-- the cheerleaders are black
-- the music is hip hop
-- at the bars it's 90 pct black
-- there are few fathers and sons at the games
-- we are doing after game concerts to attract more fans and the concerts are either hip hop or gospel.

Still absolute chickenshit by Pop. Makes a sham of the whole process.

You`ve gotta be kiddin me, that people prefer to watch All-start going Iso ball all the time, rather than beautiful team play with a lot of brilliant passes and high efficiency.

:lmao :lmao :lmao

But when you look at this, it resonates a great deal of truth.

Heat fans watched because they expected a three-peat

Heat haters and Spurs fans alike watched because they want to see Miami fail

That goes hand-in-hand. After the way San Antonio choked in the 2013 Finals, you are lying to yourself if you didn't watch the 2014 Finals to see the Heat fail

I was never a Heat hater tbh so that may apply to some but not in Spurstalk where the heat were so beloved.

Honestly, the hawks are becoming my second favorite team.

They move the ball better than the spurs, IMO.

I have watched them play four games this year and in those 4 games, the offense didn't get stagnant and was free flowing.

The spurs usually have a few minutes of poor offense. usually it gets stagnant through dribble, dribble plays..But the Hawks look better because I have not seem them have those spells.

Coach Bud and Steve Kerr early favorites for COY, although I think what Bud is doing is more impressive given what he's working with.

If he keeps it up, he'll be primed to come back and take over for Pop once he retires and we won't skip a beat :hat

Look at the assist distribution and the total... 34 assists. That's crazy good ball movement. Hard to stop everyone. Same with points and FTA. Everyone attacking, everyone getting to the line, everyone passing, everyone shooting.
