If he's being guarded by Belinellis, he would easily be the best player.

He hit a great shot in last year's playoffs, but I was struck in this game by just how poor the quality of his shot selection is in general, even when the shot clock is early. Taking Kobe-esque well defended shots instead of passing to the open man is definitely a bad habit to get into.

Lillard is a selfish chucker. Good player, but a chucker.

He's one of the most clutch players nowadays, but is much worse than other pgs like curry Irving wall etc during the first 45mins. USA doesn't require clutch players because they dun play close games, so ya lilliard is not needed there.

:lol. You people are ridiculous. Lillard always plays within himself. He takes what appear to be bad shots sometimes, but he has unlimited range. He's definitely the best PG we've ever had.

just because he trashed the spurs tonight, you misjudged his greatness

He is a great point guard. Maybe even the best in the league right now tbh, but Terry Porter was better.

He is damn good, as a Spurs fan I admit it. He had a hell of a night. Spurs will get em later though as last year ;)

I thought Lillard was the reason we lost tonight.

We (fans) blame it on the mistakes of our own team members, but I thought that the guy just played the game of his life and willed his team to victory. He really was unstoppable with the cast we had on the court last night, and I tip my hat to him.

The move to cut Lillard from team USA had nothing to do with him and more to do with Coach K's favoritism for his Duke alum.
