That said however, I had no idea the Spurs were actually in 7th as of today. That's really terrible.

Good news is that 1, Warriors and Memphis won't hold those spots the entire year. They'll both fall off some. And 2, the Spurs have a good cushion on the 8th seed and the nearest and real competition are the Thunder. So not too worried about them not making the playoffs.

The issue is that this Spurs suck and won't go long once there.
