I like this more than Josh Smith assuming he can get the "family issue" under control...

cue the usual "well if we can get him for the minimum, why not?" garbage that always happens when there's a shit player available

In that particular case, Josh Smith is better option tbh

signing a minimum player probably means Ayres gets kicked to the curb though. isn't that alone worth it?

He's gone after this year and he doesn't play. Besides, everyone hating Errors brings the forum together.

Errors is getting the Bonner treatment unfortunately. Look for his salary to double and a new four year contract. Uh Huh!!!!!!!!!

No way. Boylen and Errors are getting traded to Europe now that we got too many coaches in Messiah, Ime, and the Cum Receptacle.

The spurs seemed interested prior to him going to BK.....
No, let's not get one of the available small forwards even though we lack depth at that position and Leonard may be out awhile.

But, But But, They're overrated scrubs who can't shoot, play overrated defense, can't shoot freebies, have no heart, have no friends, and they smell funny. Spurs don't need players like that.

If the Spurs want a small forward behind KL, this is probably going to be the best way of getting one without trading some of their depth (Cojo and or Belinelli). Available SFs like Jeff Green and Wilson Chandler are younger and probably better but trading for either would likely involve a first rounder and moving up to 3 players. A Chandler trade would need a 3rd team because they already have 15 players.
He will have to accept a diminished role but doing so on a defending champion is a lot easier than on a bad Brooklyn team.

Kawhi Leonard needs to play. I'm tired of hearing about this never before seen injury shit. If the doctor your using hasn't seen anything like it, then find another doctor. C'mon now.
This is like people going to their 10th reunion and seeing a girl that was hot back in high school who is newly single. Except she pulled a Diaw and put on 50 pounds.

Right ! Because getting second opinions from other doctors implies they aren't experts. :rolleyes

Quickly contact Pop and inform him of your revolutionary idea. I'm sure he hasn't thought of it yet. This could very well save the season.

No to AK. The Spurs are relatively fine at SF. It's just that they don't have a competent third wing healthy in general right now. If Parker is back for real, then Cory will play more at SG instead of Beli.
No way I take Kirilenko over Josh Smith. They pretty much play the same position, except Smith is bigger and can play against any team. Andrei is pretty much a niche player at this point.

A guy that has never seen the injury before is an expert on the injury. Nice Spurstalk.
Surely Kawhi will get the best care money can provide, which, as Tm implies, might be a visit to a guy that HAS seen the injury at least once in his life. Not a stretch to imagine.
Blair subsumed both of his ACLs, Patty has been mentioned, Hines Ward, Kobe, and many more have played through ligament damage.
This ligament injury could be so rarely seen because it doesn't ever get referred to a surgeon because the patient recovers to such a close resemblance to normal that the patient assumes they are fully healed, never realizing they have a torn ligament. It's possible that without the MRI, etc that a professional athlete gets after such an injury, he would have healed and played an entire career without the knowledge that he had a torn ligament.
Kawhi may just end up being double jointed in his right hand, now, or some other such beneficial flexibility.
Given his proficiency for stealing the ball is already legendary, this injury may add Super-Hero powers yet unseen. Fantastic Four stretch? Movement through an added dimension? Worm hole?
Too early to worry about OR celebrate for this injury.

yeah... yeah, man. This is good shit. Maybe, if you can, get some good seats near the Spurs bench for the game tomorrow and seriously dude... copy this amazing post on to a sign and hold it up until the coaching staff and RC see it. ST to the rescue

It doesn't seem that he will play this season at all, especially considering family problems as well.

He had his shot to come to SA and turned it down though, so regardless he won't be in SA. He would accept his role yes but he is going to end up somewhere else.
