The commentator after the touchback said "of course there's just one second remaining" as a prelude to the Hail Mary lateral fest that ensued.

Credit to the Central Michigan coach for realizing his players were spent so why not go down swinging. Play call was atrocious, but go for the win and legend in the meaningless bowl with nothing but pride in the line. He and his team already had fame thanks to the last play.
