it depends how highly he's being rated.

I defended him last year, but yes, he's overrated. He has done an atrocious job of coaching this year. That being said, he's been an even worse GM. At minimum, he needs to stay away from the front office from now on and we need to hire a real GM to clean up his mess.

"Overrated" is a bad description here. I don't think he is that highly rated to begin with. When you talk about championship winning coaches...it's gonna take a while for Doc's name to brought up.

I don't think he's a great coach...so I'll go with "yes".

Of course. Most coaches who get saddled with tri-talent stacking are overrated because of the results of said stacking. It would be different if Rivers developed those guys to that level, but he was shit before and shit after. Pop is one of the only real coaches in the NBA. A coach develops players, he coaches them and they develop under his coaching. He doesn't just come up with a shitty one line motto and watch as his superstar team wins game after game.

Doc is overrated, he quit on a franchise that he had just recently made a commitment to. He'll quit again. Imagine what Pop or Rick Carlisle could do with the Clippers.

Tbh, I hope he quits. Would solve two problems at once (GM and coach).
