Antonio McDyess.

Dude was pure class and played his heart in that Memphis series back in '11. His defense on Dirk in 2010 was also fantastic. Dependable jumpshot and the perfect player to have next to Tim.

Well, we could have given it to him in 2005.

At least Beno was planning to do that.

Dice just had that Terry Porter luck. He was a good guy on some of our weakest teams.

If 2009 (and obviously earlier) McDyess would be the perfect fourth big for the team right now. Dude just didn't have it after that.

I appreciate the sentiment and agree but I wish the Ice Man had gotten a ring while we was playing with the team.

I liked Dice, but Tiago is a big reason we have #5... :lobt2:

Yeah, Dice is one of my favorite players all-time, but he was cursed to be on the Jefferson teams. Still, the Spur I really wanted to see ring was Chuck Person. I always felt sick he wasn't on the 99 team after all the good years he had given the Spurs.

I would of picked t mac instead. All he did in his career, he definitely deserved at least 1 ring.

Prime NVE was so fun to watch when he was in L.A

Crossover, quick release, crazy buzzer beaters

Same. Yeah he had his defensive shortcomings but I was always a fan of his big shots. Gary 'balls of steel' Neal tbh. :cry

Dice was solid but yeah the Spurs were just too limited at the time.

Agreed. Even more insulting is that the Italian cancer got a ring.

I wish Rod Strickland would have gotten a ring. How would that have changed history had he not f'd up that game with that stupid pass?

I don't think the Spurs would've beaten the defending champion Pistons in the Finals in 1990 but who knows.

That was the year when I first started becoming a Spurs fan (early teens) Still remember that game like it was yesterday, and for me it hurt as much as the Spurs loss in the finals a couple of seasons ago. I really feel they could have taken it to the Pistons had they gone. They were young and hungry as hell.
