Speaking of MotoGP, I'm a huge Valentino Rossi fan, and here's a couple of the all time great finishes he's been involved in..

The Ducati, ridden by Casey Stoner to the 2007 title, had so much more speed in a straight line than the Yamaha at the time. However Rossi still found a way to win and Stoner was very salty after the race.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JY9mrKR5SkA

Rossi vs Lorenzo Catalunya 2009. One of the greatest overtakes of all time to win the race by Rossi. Yamaha at their peak.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIuaS_yL38g

Perhaps the most infamous finish in MotoGP this millenium, the controversial Rossi vs Gibernau finish at Jerez in 2005. The two were major rivals and this finish raised a lot of tensions....

and became the championship driver. I always like Jeff and I am sure his back problems is a large
part of why leaving full time racing after this year. Jeff will probally find his way behind a TV microphone

Gordon will switch off his Xfinity Series (formerly called Nationwide Series) analyst role with defending Cup champion Kevin Harvick and former Cup champ Brad Keselowski. Those are just part of many changes for FOX, which goes into this season splitting TV broadcasting duties with NBC. The first round of the Indycar season March 8 in Brazil has been canceled due to money problems.
It would be nice to have a Indycar race in San Antonio like when they had the IMSA races
dowtown. What happened to that to that sports complex that was to go in around the ATT center?
A Race track was in part of the plans.

Thats not the final paint on the car. They put a abstract vinyl wrap on the car in testing so

where he said she told him she was a killer for the CIA. Kurt said she left the house one day wearing
pants and a shirt but came back to the house that evening wearing a dinner dress that had blood
all over it. She has said that he slammed her head 3 times into the wall of his motor home. After that
they broke up and she filed abuse papers on him....This is TV 24 or Blacklist type of story ...just crazy...

INDYCAR MEMORIES:

Back when there was the IRL/CART split, I preferred to watch CART as it featured races in Europe. In 2001, CART came to England and raced on my local track, Rockingham Motor Speedway, the only oval track in England. It was amazing that after watching these cars on TV in all the glamourous locations in the USA and around the world, they then came to my little rural area in England.

The 2001 race had one of the greatest finishes in CART history, with Gil De Ferran passing Kenny Brack on the outside of turn 4 on the final lap. It's a shame that IndyCar never came back here after 2002. Maybe one day.

more testing for a while. The new McLaren/Honda is hand full with new car teething troubles. The Ferrari's

NASCAR is a joke.

Every day they find ways to screw it up even more.

Half the field in today's qualifying failed inspection and about 15 of them didn't even get to set foot on the track.

Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, Kenseth were among the ones who had to relied on last year's points to even get in the race while people like Hornaday made it in on time. LOL

Biernutz
03-01-2015, 03:42 AM
I don't like NASCAR's new qualifying order. It works for F! but NASCAR I like old school.

13 cars failed tech inspection at ATL's Race and couldn't qualify for the race. They had to
use things like past race champion or past Cup champ to get in the race. Normally they can use their
exception 5 times a season to get into a race they don't qualify for.

Like the say in NASCAR " if you aren't cheating your not trying hard enough"

Biernutz
03-05-2015, 11:15 PM
When Fernando Alonso woke up after his crash in testing,he thought
it was 1995 and he was still racing karts and wanted to be a F1 driver.
It took him a week to recover his memories of the past 20 years. He will sit
out the first race of the year but the team said he is symptom free after
the concussion. If he is symptom free why is he not racing? This is the question
the medical community is asking.

Australian Grand Prix is next weekend March15.

F1 seems to be in a pattern that one team just dominates everyone else every year...look how Red Bull
won everything for 4 years. Before that Michael Schumacher won everything for years. I stopped watching
the races after his 4th title because you knew who was going to win. Same with Sebastian Vettel when he was
winning race after race. The only thing about Mercedes I like is Hamilton and Rosberg don't like each other and will
put the other in the grass. I am not a big rallying fan but I do follow endurance racing. I look fwd to LeMans each

But at least in the Schumacher years, there was still close racing up and down the field. There was re-fueling so drivers weren't 'conserving fuel'. Now though drivers like Hamilton aren't even going at full pace and still winning.

It is really one of the few remaining forms of racing that has remained untouched over the years, however I do wonder how long the race will last going into the future with voices of dissent growing ever louder over safety issues.

A lap round the Isle of Man circuit in 1990 in a Rover Vitesse, with driver Tony Pond's aim to sustain a 100 mph average around the entire circuit. Not two wheels but still immense stuff.

Speaking of Dunlop, I was tracking him with the online TT tracker on the official TT website since there's no live coverage in the UK. All of a sudden his dot disappeared, and the radio reported him missing, as he didn't come across the line in 2nd like he should have. Turns out he had a large crash with a backmarker. Pretty little information still but seems like he's ok.

We get the days races at 10pm CDT USA and I saw the Dunlop crash. it's good he is just shaken up
a bit with no broken bones..I love the superbikes and you could see how worn and stressed the third place rider
was. You are riding at the limit and the concentration has to be unreal on the road course. Did you see the
picture of the rider just missing the black and white house cat? I will be looking fwd to the sidecars. Watching the
"monkey" hanging on at over 100 mph through the streets....Wow.....

We got the F1 race at 1pm CDT and it looks like only bad luck will stop Louis from getting a back to back. He has the
field covered and in the head of Nico. I would have loved to see Alanso be Louis teammate. I am a long time Williams
supporter all the way back from the Keke-Alan Jones days. I will hate to see Botas go to Ferrari next year but Williams
just doesn't have the money to spend like Merc. and Ferrari do......

After a close battle, the #19 Porsche of Nick Tandy, Earl Bamber and Nico Hulkenberg has opened up a minute lead over the multi time winner #7 Audi of Fassler, Lotterer and Treluyer. Still close though. The #5 Audi is still in 5th despite the large accident early in the race. Disappointing race for Toyota, with both cars behind all Porsche and Audi. No mayor crashes as of yet.

fck happen to webber? thought he was pole for lemans, then disappears...

Webbers car came in second one lap back.....*Webbers co driver went thru a accident slow zone which is like a yellow flag zone
only slower...the slow zone has a speed limit and he went too fast and the car had to do a pit drive thru penalty that cost
them a half of lap...Webber also said the car would not have passed for 1st because it just didn't have it.

Are F1 cars too easy the drive now. Niki Lauda has echoed Kimi Raikkonen's statement that they
are too easy. With all the technology and the way the tracks don't have enough passing zones does
it seem like it's out of the hands of the drivers now? Larger tires, more power, old school pit boards and refueling
look good to me.

Fernando Alonso said it would be "a good thing" if McLaren kept Jenson Button for the 2016 but if
Honda has another bad year like this one will Fernando be looking for a way out. To say the Honda F1
engine has been a disaster is being generous. The engine is a dog and the way that F1 lets you test
makes it even harder for them to get out of this hole. Honda's last trip to F1 did not end well and
will they stay this time to work this out? McLaren is now worried about losing sponsors because who
want's to pay that kind of money for car that can't get into the top 10. Honda will not poach a engine
mechanic or designer from another team who might help find out why the engine is a dog. Honda wanted
to only use factory personal with no outsiders for the engine system.

Same amount of wins as Senna, difference being Senna actually had other drivers to fight him and had a teammate who wasn't an incompetent idiot. I mean, if that was Senna or Prost or Schumacher or Villenueve (either one) at the first corner with Lewis trying to squeeze him out, both cars would be in the wall because there's no way they'd back down like Rosberg does, who willingly put himself on the grass to avoid 'Sir Lewis'.

Hell of a start by Bottas to get the lead after turn 1. Other than the 1st lap and the last few when Vettel was only a second or two off the lead, it was a fairly boring race.

What the hell is going on with McLaren? Alonso couldn't even get to the start!
