I used to think McHale was the biggest problem. Not anymore. Hell Morey is the bigger problem, ran of Adelman, and now McHale didn't want Smith, and finally showed some balls and benched the whole first unit. Same shit for 18 years. Shitty owner, shitty franchise.

The second I heard he was guaranteed a starting spot? I lost it then, it really ticked me off...ive been really high on Dmo and its CLEAR AS DAY how much better he is and he earned that shit. The 50 point prediction was sarcasm in that past thread :lol

in fairness to them, nobody knew he was promised a starting role. At no cost, off the bench...what loss is there? You cut his ass if it doesn't work out :lol..which probably will happen once TJ comes back.

How is Jones doing? Always liked the kid since his high school days hope he recovers fully and back on the court soon

The JS acquisition isn't a bad deal for Houston. How he's used can be, but I think Kevin is trying to get him involved while the team still has some room to move in the standings. Either he works out or he doesn't. If he does, that a big move for cheap. If he doesn't, no biggie. You have people like Nash raking in 10m a year and getting praised for visiting the team at the airport after not seeing them for months.

they're curbstomping miami with a vengeance tonight though. You claimed smith off the waivers and signed him for only 2m, it was your own fault to expect him to put up star-esque stats, a 6th man role is probably the best he can suit tbh.

Props to Mchale, and I guess smith for coming off the bench. It really showed that the team is better with the normal starting unit.

Lo and Behold, Josh Smith is moved to the bench, has a solid game, and the Rockets roll.

Have no idea what McHale was thinking starting him.

I shit on Mchale a lot, but the reason Smith was benched was because of him. Morey promised JS the starting role, McHale was actually pissed about how Dmo developed into such a solid post player and earned the starting job, only to be hoisted aside for a low IQ chucker. I'm 100% positive he's the one that convinced Smith and the FO that his ass belongs on the bench.

McHale nutting up and telling Morey to fuck off was well needed..
