I don't understand why you guys hate the Steelers so much. Going around is this perceived idea that they are favored in games. I say that's bullshit. The Steelers are consistently one of the teams that gets the bad end of the officiating.

With all the camera angles/instant replay, we don't see any bogus officating in todays game. Not saying it hasn't happened once upon a time, not that I've ever seen it happen.

The Steelers one of the more interesting stories in the league. From doormat to being the most successful franchise in league history. Don't forget they were one of the NFL teams sent to the AFC when the leagues merged (Baltimore Colts, Browns the others). Those 70's Steelers teams right there with the 60's Packers, 80's Niners.

One of my fav players was John Henry Johnson a Steeler fullback back in the 60's, the Marshawn Lynch of his day. He was known for his patented forearm shiver.

He did start out a Niner. He was there with two other future Hall of Fame backs, Joe "The Jet" Perry and Hugh "The King" McElhenny. They also had Y.A.Tittle a future Hall of Fame QB.

The Steelers really weak when it comes to track/footballers. They did have...

Rod Woodson a world class hurdler while at Purdue, a 13.2 guy.

Terry Bradshaw threw the javelin.

Lynn Swann was a two time Cali State long jump champ in HS, a 24 footer.

John Henry Johnson was a decatlete while at Arizona St.

Mike Wallace a good high school sprinter.

I'm thinking that's about it.

I remember when they were pure & utter shit. A joke they were. Then they hit that draft and it got turned around and they just dominated the league and the Browns personally. We ate a huge load of shit. Never did get a payback. It never turned around again. Never. That's over 40 years past now. Seems like yesterday. Doesn't it go by in a blink.

Well to be fair, the 2011 New York Giants (the eventual Super Bowl Champs) lost twice to the Rex Grossman led Redskins and lost at home to the Tarvaris Jackson led Seahawks.

Here in Baltimore its because of the arrogant nature of their fans. They talk soooo much crap prior to a game, then when/if they do lose all they do is resort back to the 6 titles crap. Not to mention the majority of their fan base here in Maryland are overly annoying. If Baltimore hadn't got hosed in the whole Colts debacle we would actually have 6 titles too. But they seem to forget about that.

What about losing to the Cleveland fucking Browns?

Didn't the Cowoys lose to the Redskins with a backup QB?

Didn;t the Bengals lose to those same Browns?

Didn't the Ravens get beat up vs the Texans?

Didn;t the Pats get their ass kicked by the Chiefs?

When the Ravens won their SB they'd lost six games.

The last time the Packers won a SB they were 10-6.

You really do need to do just a tad bit of homework. it's real obvious you don't.

It's 2011, the Giants are 6-6.....guess what?

It's 2006, the Colts who would win the SB lose to Tenn and Jacksonville back to back, in a 4 week period..1-3.

History is full of this sort of thing.

How so? If the Colts stayed in Baltimore then they'd have 1 more title with Peyton, and Ray Lewis would have played for the Browns and gotten 2 for Cleveland.

Also, everyone hates the Steelers because the organization is run by inbred assholes, and their fans are all faggots.
