Wow, haven't watch the Bulls much, but Rose looks like he fell off a cliff....

If you subtract all but 1 of his "good games" that came against tanking shithole teams, it would probably be even worse.

The question now isn't if he'll ever come back, but if he'll ever be a replacement-level NBA player over the course of his contract.

I'd rather pay Andrew Monaco 15m/3 than pay TP 43m/3

tbh

And this is only the first year on that awful $60 million contract. Can't even begin to imagine how bad this team will look three years from now with the corpse of Tony Parker making $16 million/year.

Unlike the Bulls, at least the Spurs have PGs that can take over for Enrique:lol..

It isn't. His extension was for 3/$46m... this is the last year of the previous contract.

Good point. Still nauseating to think he's owed that much while giving us very little to be hopeful about with his on court production.

Seeing him out on the court genuinely angers me. He's going to tarnish his Spurs legacy so bad by the time his contract is over. The intelligent Spurs fan is already turning on him, only a matter of time before the average fan follows suit tbh.

Malik Rose was handed a thank you contract too, tbh.... it's not a first for the Spurs.... Rose did end up getting traded afterwards, but then again, Isiah Thomas was the Knicks GM at the time...

Rose still had some good years left in him, he just fell into Pop's doghouse for whatever reason. Besides he only got 7-8 mill per yr (6-7 years, 40-45 mill total) IIRC tbh.

edit: 7 years, $42 mill

The teams with stupid front offices in the NBA(Brooklyn, Charlotte, Lebron, Clippers, Lakers, Sacramento) are full of shitty players, not much the Spurs could get in return, tbh..

I remember a few years back i argued with cuckvp about how I thought Parker would retire when Duncan did and play for France. I argued that he would fall off a cliff and no other team would need a point guard and his ego wouldnt allow him to cone off the bench . He would also finish his career playing for his French team. Unfortunately for Spurfan i was right about the decline and also unfortunate to be wrong about him playing for his french team. Gonna have to dig that thread up. I was one of the most hated Spurstalk posters after that thread

^^the majority of the "old school" ST players are extremely defensive about Parker, tbh:lol..not sure why, but they are..Most of them didnt have a problem bashing Ginobili after 2013, though..

TIMVP is the epitome of Mainstream Big 3 fans tbh.

If you look at his post, and study it carefully, He was actually the biggest player fan in spurstalk.

Please go to Bulls forum and start a thread as "Rose is the cancer to the team."
