Really good in 2012. Peaked in 2013 and had a dominant Western Conference run looking like the best point guard in the NBA. Choked in the 2013 Finals and it's been downhill ever since. Negative impact last year. Even worse this season. It's beginning to approach Josh Smith levels now. And, as Nono pointed out to me, he signed a $46 million extension recently. Can't imagine it's going to get better anytime soon.

Spurs have been fortunate to have two legends that have aged gracefully in Duncan and Manu. Guess it was pushing it to expect Tony Parker to be the same. He never did have the level of skill or bball IQ that those two possessed so it's not surprising that Father Time has been quite harsh on Tony(who's mostly relied on his speed in order to be effective).

I would for being an anchor on the franchise. Watching him is bothering and shitting on him is stress relieving.

Premature. The reality is that both Tim and Manu eventually received some help (Tiago, Patty, Boris) and gradually changed their game in order to remain effective after they lost a step themselves.

Tony is going to need some time to figure out how to tackle that himself, while he regains some game shape after being out for a while, and adjusts to the new realities of what he can and cannot do.

It's a process, and it's painful. But this team has done it a couple of times before, and hopefully can do it one more time.

Let's see if this faggot starts playing off the ball with Kawhi in the lineup or will he continue to ignore him..

He's a huge negative defensively but as well as in the offensive end with his BS playclling

The Josh Smith comparison is stupid. Smith was a negative player everywhere he played. At least Parker can say he's been injured. Smith has been healthy, he just sucks.

Langston Galloway could have won 4 titles playing next to prime TD and Manu.

End of an era; hope Spurs sack Pop and Tim Duncan becomes coach.

Tony Parker at 29 was having a great year. I'd like to see how Josh Smith fares once he loses his athleticism.

Parker without the ability to go to the paint effectively, is just another dude in the NBA. Lot of miles and hard hits on the floor on that cat. I remember specifically when I noticed TP as being what he became, the quickness, the toughness, the willingness to drive the paint and just get hammered to draw a foul or pull off a miraculous shot or the beauty of the teardrop. Which is one reason it really pisses me off when goofs compare Chris Paul to Parker. Parker, because of his game, had a shorter 'prime'. He did things you NEVER see Paul do either now or in his prime. Prime Parker driving the paint ? Get the fuck out. A thing of sheer will and beauty. At times it looked almost, suicidal. But he did it over and over and over. That catches up with you.

Spurs big 3 don't have regular NBA miles on them. Lots of playoff miles on those guys. That's another animal right there and why they are so amazing.

I simply refuse to criticize them at this point. I refuse.
