Lebron is a bitch who has undermined every coach he has had. Would he be the best ever if Pop was his coach from day 1

I do think LeBron respects Pop (I mean he should) and would listen to him and support him publicly unlike his dealings with Blatt for example.

But I'm not sure he could take the yelling for the good of the team the way Timmy does. As is well-documented, Timmy accepting being shouted at makes everyone else get in line. Not sure LeBron would deal well with that. I could be wrong though.

Also, not sure how well Pop would do with LBJ's entourage on team buses and planes all the time. Or replacing R.C. with LeBron's 3rd cousin's girlfriend's favorite McDonald's employee.

LeBron is the greatest individual talent in the history of basketball, but his style of play is extremely hard to build around, and he only plays his own style of play..he would co-exist horribly with Pop, tbh..

Lebron won in Miami with Pat Riley overseeing the organization..as LeBatard and other Miami reporters have reported throughout the years, LeBron and his entourage were not given control in Miami, and they had many fights over it..

Spurs fans should be extremely fortunate to have had Duncan and Robinson as the superstars of the team, rather than cancers like Jordan, Kobe, Shaq, Lebron, etc..

LeGod is one of the most coachable athletes of all time. Media is just blaming him for how Kyrie and Kevin Scrub are throwing Blatt under the bus, tbh.

Every... Single... team...and ... every .... single....player respects pop.

If he didnt listen to Pop he would be unanimously the most hated player in the game.

The other coaches are questionable coaches. Pop without doubt knows what he is doing.

And LBJ would never join the Spurs. We are like his respected nemesis. He tries to pretend he isnt joining super stacked teams and joining spurs would classify him as the GOAT "If you cant beat them, join them"

Those ''cancers'' are maybe better players but they are also superstars with huge egos. Can Pop coach superstars with huge egos? I guess we'll never know about it

Come on!! This is homerism to a whole new level. Those "cancers" didn't need Pop to win rings. I'd trade Duncan, Pop, and Robinson for the Bull's, Lebron's AND Laker's era. 14 > 5.

Shaq Uncut: My Story (http://www.sportingnews.com/nba/story/2011-11-02/shaq-bashes-lebron-howard-and-more-in-upcoming-book)

Cavs coach Mike Brown “had to live on edge because nobody was supposed to be confrontational with LeBron,” Shaq says in the book, according to excerpts provided by Hoopsworld. “Nobody wanted him to leave Cleveland, so he was allowed to do whatever he wanted to do.

“I remember one day in a film session LeBron didn’t get back on defense after a missed shot. Mike Brown didn’t say anything about it. He went to the next clip and it was Mo Williams not getting back and Mike was saying, ‘Yo, Mo, we can’t have that. You’ve got to hustle a little more.’ So Delonte West is sitting there and he’s seen enough and he stands up and says, ‘Hold up, now. You can’t be pussyfooting around like that. Everyone has to be accountable for what they do, not just some (of) us.’

“Mike Brown said, ‘I know, Delonte. I know.’ Mike knew Delonte was right.”

How is that homerism? I never said they needed Pop to win rings. All I'm saying is that those superstars with huge egos might not be Pop compatible.

Hey Delonte West should have just called out his son Lebron and told him whats up. Thats on Delonte.

LOL Leroid can't seriously be considered GOAT if he has no shot. they boy can't shoot.

don't get me wrong, Duncan can't shoot so he is in the same boat as Roids.

Wait, so you're trading one franchise for three (if you count Lebron as a "franchise"). So the real comparison is 5 vs. 14 divided by 3, which means 5 > 4.7.

And in case you can't do math... 6 Jordan + 5 Lakers + 2 Lebron = 13.

And of those 6 Jordan titles, Duncan was in the league for one of them.

Would you like some replays of his bank shot? Only about 5000 of them.
Yes his no arch arrow shot could be better. It was good enough for #5 in 2014 and only coach Numb Nutts and Turnobili stopped that from being a repeat.

I'd take a prime Admiral and prime Timmy over all those guys other then maybe MJ.

not a knock on Duncan tbh. if Duncan had a true shot he'd be THE GOAT and probably ammassed a min 8 championships

I hear you. If he wanted to be completely rounded out he would have added some arc to that jumper.
It's like who is the completely rounded out player? I'm gonna say Jordan comes the closest.
Maybe that will make a good thread. :lol

Robinson was underated and never really had good teams so I'd take him over all those guys sans MJ, same goes for Tim.
