Suns 24-18
Thunder 19-20

Everyone expected the thunder to start winning games when KD returned, but it doesn't look like that would happen anytime soon.

As a spurs fan, I don't mind seeing the thunder eliminated in the regular season..That's one less team to worry about.

The suns have a favorable schedule in the second half of the season..They've played the most road games in the league.

In their next 40 games, I wouldn't be surprised if they go 26-14, considering their home heavy schedule..That would leave them at 50-32.

The Thunder needs to win 31 of their next 43 to reach the 50 win mark..31-12 in their next 43.

NBA will make sure Thunder are in, what is a bigger draw, Thunder vs Warriors or Phoenix vs Warriors :lol

You also left one important piece out of the equation, the Clippers, they are free falling

The thunder will get in. Too much talent on that team for them not to make it, despite not really having a coach.

Only thing better than Thunder missing the playoffs is getting eliminated in the 1st round

NBA will make sure the Thunder get in like the Lakers did in 2013...

31-12 ain't too much for a healthy thunder team to achieve imho. And the refs will do their work to make sure the Thunder get in instead of the Suns. Once Durant comes back, so does the refs' help tbh.

Thunder should, but quietly the Suns have found a lineup that has gone 12-4, with all four losses coming by 5-points or fewer or in OT.

They've made two sly acquisitions in Wright/Bullock that fit their system, and have so much depth they are shopping Plumlee, and can't get Goodwin any NBA minutes.

They still have CAP to absorb added salary, so with a month before the trade deadline, I'm not sure they are done.

Dragic is healthy again after the flu, so I think this next month likely determines this race.

Way to many moving parts for the NBA to do that.

Hoping the Thunder sneak in so they can stay out of the lottery, but as we move into the latter part of the season I have a feeling Presti and Co. will see the writing on the wall from a playoffs vs lottery perspective and they will cut their losses and tank.

They can't afford to do so. They're losing Durant in 2016. Making the playoffs and pulling at least one upset, which is quite possible against the Warriors or Blazers, would surely be seen as a positive sign. Dropping out of the playoffs, so they can get the 14th pick and proceed to trade it for the 22nd and 29th and then drafting players for the d-league will see Durant bolt quickly. They're desperate right now and are making extremely risky moves from a financial standpoint.

Suns are too far ahead. We'll be there. Dunno if OKC ends up in or out, but Suns are making it. Trust me; I'm never wrong about playoff predictions. ;-)

LOL Thunder only 2 games behind loss column.

As I said, this month will determine. Suns play a brutal 8 game stretch, so, with health and homecourt, if the Suns can't go .500 or better, the Thunder likely overtake by All-Star break.

I think the Suns have a better chance of passing Clippers than staying ahead of Thunder.

I know hes shooting 40% from deep, but how in the hell does Abaka lead his team in 3pt attempts and makes? Brooks is so fucking stupid.

Thunder look beat already. Something changed when Reggie went to the slave trade auction via rumor mill. After that the team just slumped.

Neither. The Pelicans will make a run once they stop coasting.

Mavs are decent but I wouldn't want their roster. Your best player is a TOSB whose clock is ticking. Your Rondo is a UFA after this season and may ditch you. Your big max-contract FA signing Portions is a bust. Your entire defense depends on crusty Tyson Chandler's knees holding up for a whole season + playoffs. Have fun with all that!

Could very well happen if the Suns and the Thunder keep losing all these games, tbh.

Pelicans only have 1.5 NBA talents on their roster. They won't win shit.

I want to believe it, but.... Monty Williams.

At least Gordon is finally playing good basketball recently for the first time since we signed him.

It would be awesome if NO, Phoenix, and OKC were within a game of each other with two weeks left in the season.

Still think OKC probably slides into 8th by a couple games.
