I don't think people appreciate how dominant that group was.....Nick Collins especially since he was so good in coverage it allowed Capers to get away with his retarded blitzes.

Its too late to fire Capers. He's cost them so much already. Should have been fired after 2011, but kept his job from the Super Bowl appearance. Same thing happened with the Saints and Gregg Williams. Saints win the Super Bowl in 2009 and Williams is hailed a hero for improving the defense even though signing Darrin Sharper and Jabari Greer as well as having a healthy Tracy Porter had bigger impacts. Then in 2010, the defense allowed 41 points at a 7-9 Seattle team in a playoff loss. Instead of firing Williams, he was kept and responsible for the brutal choke at San Francisco the following season which ultimately cost the Saints a Super Bowl appearance since they would have had the Giants in the Superdome for the NFC Title game.
