Anderson back to Austin

SAN ANTONIO (January 20, 2015) – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have assigned forward Kyle Anderson to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.

This is Anderson’s second assignment to Austin this season. In his lone appearance with Spurs, he posted a double-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in 41 minutes in Austin’s 110-105 victory vs. Santa Cruz Warriors on Nov. 23.

The former UCLA Bruin has appeared in 27​ games this season for San Antonio, averaging 2.6 points and 2.5 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per contest.

He was really only with the Spurs bc Kawhi was injured. His game has been Austin material for weeks.
