View Full Version : Why does Parker try so hard when the spurs are already up by double digit in the 4th?

I like the fact that he's being aggressive, but in the last 2 minutes when the spurs were up by 14..He took over 5 shots from there on..>Driving to the lane, being aggressive on the offensive end.

We want him to be aggressive, but we don't want another Injury.

I like his effort, but there's no need to try to win it yourself when the game is already over...I mean Pop already seated Tim and Kawhi..

Eitherway, good game from him..closing the deal in the last three minute with the spurs only up by 14 points...he scored like 6 points there..did it all by himself. Giving credit where it's due.

Padding his stats while Kahwi was out. Made the final box score look like he actually contributed something.

I'm not hating on TP..

I just don't like seeing him risk his body when were up by 14 points..

No more injuries please...

Not sure why spurs fans wants him to be that aggressive when that game is already over...Health comes first.

Subtle but has a point. Dont need to try hard when you already won. Let Cojo do that

Would of not needed to be on the court if for some inexplicable reason Pop didn't take Kawhi out with 8 minutes to go, only to be forced to bring him back with 1:30 to go. He also didn't bring Patty in to close either, it was all just weird.

I will never understand what goes through that man's head.

Tp made the three when Spurs were up 8
Then he made the 2

Tp made no lay ups when Spurs under 2
Thus not trying to get injuried

Should have never gotten down to 8.

Like any of the rest of the NBA stats is important. Parker stat padding is normal.
CP3 & LeBron do it sometimes.
Obviously Pop is just giving him a chance to upgrade his recent abysmal statline :lol

CHILL.

Parker was clutch tonight. I was at the game. He made sure Denver didn't get back into the game.

As long as he doesn't do anything stupid to hurt himself it will help with his conditioning.

It's called fake hustle. He doesn't have the pressure of win/lose, so he can go all out and try to keep himself relevant in a stats world, which is how teams rate players like it or not.

Why does OP try so hard when there are already many Kawhi threads

How many games were in jeopardy this season because of failed late game execution. Parker made sure Pop had nothing to worry about - his jumper was money tonight and also I see him and Kawhi passing the ball to each other quite often ...

you're not a Spurs fan, you're not even a sports fan. I get that you need a lot of attention but still this is embarrassing...

We would be 2nd easy... :bang

The big3 had so many late game horrible execution/TOs, so unbelievable/uncharacteristic from them...
