Europe is too afraid of Russia. At least the western liberal portion of it. Still remember what happened in the 30s and 40s as well as Cold War stuff to fully open up their arms to the Slavs. Stalin wasn't any different in Hitler except he trusted Hitler not to attack him especially after he gave Hitler the opportunity to start the World War when both sides attacked Poland (lol Infinite_Limit/Newcastle) on both sides of the border. I don't think all of Europe wants to see a strong Nationalist movement that was at its peak in the 30s. I think it will happen eventually in Europe. Maybe not in our generation, but next 50-75 years. Won't happen in North America or the rest of the world, but Europe is ripe for it. They have a stronger sense of nationalism compared to any other region in the World, especially since religion is dying over there. Can't mix religion with nationalism since religion preaches everyone to be equal. Europe has evolved from religion the last half century which makes it easier for nationalism to grow.

I've spoken to my folks and they are quite critical of Western Ukrainians. They remember them beheading women and children during WW2. They along with the Mongolians were the most brutal. One side of my family was forced to share a home with Nazi soldiers. They were very respectful and even aided with food.
