Roy Williams has two titles in the past decade I think you have to give him edge him over Pitino but agree with rest of list. Especially Calhoun who has done more with less. but Ollie brought home the last UCONN title and from what I hear was instrumental to the one before that as well.

Rat Face's best coaching move was faking a back injury during a down season and then making his assistant take credit for the losing record in the record books. No wonder Kirby likes him so much.

That may well be, but, that four corner stall was a plague upon the game. Privately they tried to get that screwball to quit it, but, he wouldn't & publicly Media wouldn't condemn him for it so to force him to quit it.

It was chickenshit, ScRuB.

I feel UNC battled and pushed us to the limit. But as I was telling my Dukie buddy throughout the game "UNC has the athletes and even bodies inside BUT they can't shoot". When the Heels have legit 3point shooters, they are almost unbeatable....and it's once a decade. Duke is disciplined and foxy with the 3 point shot.

Coach K is the Phil Jackson of college. Dude gets 5 star recruits falling in his lap year after year. Then when he doesn't, he quits on the team for two years because he's "sick" and let's his assistants take all the losses. :lol

McDonald's All-Americans
Kentucky-9

Noone else has more than one. Coach K has a shitload of advantages over the competition at Dook. Granted he helped build the program but it's not like he was winning nefore he started getting those HS All-Americans. Pop had Duncan but he also had a limited budget and San Antonio not being appealing to FAs going against him. Plus IL talks about evolution, how about the evolution of the Spurs style once Duncan aged past his prime.

Really dude. So what about when the Spurs were just a good team between '08 - '11. Pop goes out gets Kawhi, Green, Splitter, and develops each to great defensive players. Adds Complimentary pieces like Mills and Diaw as well.

Pop has totally evolved this team since the first day he coached it. He has perfected the Spurs system. And I am sorry, having a 38 yo Duncan isn't going to win you championships. Developing the aforementioned players, and establishing the best Offensive and Defensive system in the NBA, if not the world, does.

Coach Pop > Coach K. I have extreme respect for Coach K, but Pop is probably the best coach in the world right now. You should be proud being he is Aryan and all.

Until Rat Face goes to the NBA and has success there, he doesn't even belong in the same paragraph as Pop, let alone the same sentence. Rat Face isn't even better at the college level than coaches like Gregg Marshall and Tom Izzo, who do more with less and don't need the refs to win games for them.

No, but McDonald's All-Americans magically wake up every year with $100,000 bling courtesy of Rat Face.
