M. Bonner -4
T. Parker -4
P. Mills -1

Thought the same but just how it goes most nights Spurs just happened to be the favored team this day.

I normally refrain from ref critiques, but they were bad.
We got most of the calls.

The same slaps that were breakaway/transition point in the first half got called in the second half. Milwaukee didn't adapt. They also started gripping when we made our run at them. Those little jumpers that were falling in Qs 1 and 2 started rimming out when it got tight.

I'll take it considering the opposing team has gotten more FTs than the Spurs in all but three games.

I'll take it but it's disgusting nonetheless. We're not 2012-2014 OKC.

Tim's rebound total relied on those near misses.
I would like to think our increased energy had something to do with it.
They did not get the close ones to fall for sure.

The Bucks were badgering the refs the whole game. Every time there was a stop in play or during free throws they were arguing with the refs even when they were up by 12. Getting in the ref's ear every other play is a surefire way to dig your grave in a ballgame.

This is actually very true, I have seen the Spurs many times be guilty of exactly this and get the same result.

good point. I'm sure there is an entire science as to how to treat refs. Refs are humans so each one probably needs to be treated differently, also depends day of the week, city you are playing in, etc. I would think Pop and the Spurs are PHDs at this science but I have seen plenty of times the refs punishing teams with no rhyme or reason.

last night refs punished the Bucks

That's what I noticed, too. Couldn't believe they weren't being called in the first half...then it was like at halftime the refs looked at some tape and decided to do the opposite. Poor reffing throughout. Whenever refs get put in a 'make-up call' position, it is not good for the game.

Worked out okay for us, though, tonight.:toast refs
