Who read the article? The headline and the article don't agree in that the article didn't say they would win, just that they can keep the core together if they trade Lee or pay luxury tax. It basically says don't be okc.

The author of the article is Tom ziller, a veteran writer. It has a chart.

I read the article, it's about managing the cap, which is just common sense.

The problem is the original assumption that the current GSW roster is already at the start of a dynasty with this core.

PG led teams don't win titles. Iverson tried and got stomped by the Lakers. Unless it's Magic or IT. Unless Klay becomes the man they're not winning any titles.

So when will the media finally hop off Curry and the Warriors' dicks?

Klay beasted last night, Curry, not so much. ESPN tagline "Curry, Warriors defeat xxxxxxx team".

Media needs names, Curry is popular because he's a chucker extraordinaire who has a team around him that won't let him lose. Fans love chuckers, which is why TMac ever made an All Star appearance, why Kobe still gets voted in even though he's worse than Jeremy Lin, and why people like Carmelo Anthony get in. ESPN doesn't give a shit about sports news, they are just TMZ for athletes who play pro sports.

SB nation is just a wannbe ESPN.

Managing the cap with that group is arguably harder than actually winning a title.

The article's premise is kinda outlandish, considering that the Warriors haven't won anything yet. Yes they are 36-6 but that doesn't equate to a championship

Once the Pelicans stop coasting and get that 8th spot, they will provide a huge test to the Warriors. I see the Pelicans in 6.

Yup. Author didn't suggest the Warriors were going to win anything, let alone have a dynasty. The author almost certainly did not title his article. I'm sure it was an editor to get people to read the article. The article is more about the Warriors being able to keep their young core group of players together so they can be good for several years.

If you only read the title of the article, any criticisms of the actual article itself as it relates to championship or dynasty suggestions are unfounded.

Except the last paragraph

If Warriors' management can swallow one massive tax bill or move Lee a year early, the timeline will work itself out and Golden State's super team can stay together until it runs out of gas. Barring injury, that could mean seven or eight more seasons like this one in the Bay Area. It could mean a new West Coast dynasty.
