That place never seems that loud. Don't blame them for trying to make it louder.

What makes no sense to me is that people (myself included) talk shit about artificial noise, but a lot of the same people think Minnesota's "Viking horn" that only seems to blow when Minnesota is on defense is really cool when it's the same thing as pumping in fake noise.

The CHEATriots (get it?) play that loud ass foghorn on 3rd downs too.

:lol essentially if you want noise, don't make it fake crowd noise, make it a gimmick that has something to do with your mascot and it's OK.

New England should start fake musket noises next year.

but even fake crowd noise is pretty common, sound effects aside

Hockey teams play loud-ass horns after every goal, tbh. The Sens' horn is the most obnoxious:

Does playing a horn after a goal really affect the game though? That just seems like a celebration, playing a horn every time the other team is facing a 3rd down has an obvious intent.

The horn doesn't affect the game, but the long-ass announcement over the PA of who scored and all the players who assisted on it after the horn/song might be a distraction :lol

The Washington Capitals siren really pisses me off when they score an OT goal against SJ at 3AM.
