Not sure what was worse: this playcall or Belichick not using a timeout at the 1 minute mark.

Yeah I was wondering what the hell he was doing there, you could tell he was second guessing it when the clock got way down and said in his head maybe I should have called a TO but that call bails him out. Both were incredibly stupid.

Lynch is virtually unstoppable anywhere within 10 yards of the endzone.. Belichick was just asking to lose that game with seconds to go. How the hell do you say no to the ball with 1 minute on the clock with 2 TOs down by 3.

Wilson is a younger QB in the league....and I don't think he has the balls yet to question the head coach or the OC's decision. But with Brady....he's well established. Does he (if he gets the same play call) call an audible and hand the ball off to Beast Mode?

I mean honestly, who the fuck was going to stop Lynch? I understand he was trying to avoid the awkward 4th down and 1 to go situation, but you NEVVEEEEEEEEER pass in that situation.
Something interesting I mentioned to friends at my little tea party here today for the Superbowl. That call that Caroll made at half time that tied it instead of going for the 3 was gusty, but a little too gutsy. Everyone laughed at me when I said this is a bad idea just get the 3 up there, but I told them that risk taking attitude is not always the best idea. Being a pussy like John Fox is a bad idea too, but you wanna play it like a game of chess.
Honestly, I put more consideration into Madden on Xbox when I used to play than that when it was a Superbowl game (Season Mode). Fucking Pete just went for it there like it was a pre-season game.

i thought that call was fine. they probably instructed Wilson to just drop back and sling it right away... if its not there, throw it away. they had 6 seconds, which is enough time to run a quick one like that.

I'm sorry my nig, that was not the right call. I'm not playing back to the future here now that I know the results. Tbh, I have nothing against Wilson. I'm not sure if he's the real deal or not yet, though I will say he has flashes of brilliance. But that Seahawks team is so amazing that Kyle Orton could have won a superbowl with them. They're just that good, its really not a diss.

depends on your definition of "real deal"
i think he's shown he's a franchise QB (in that Seattle isn't going to be looking to replace him anytime soon). don't mistake franchise QB for elite QB. guys like Flacco, Eli, Ryan are all franchise QB's but none are elite.

I just heard Carolls explanation, it makes sense. They had 1 time out left and with less than a minute left, they felt a Lynch run forces you to use the time out if he doesnt score and now you're in a huge pickle.
Personally, I disagree with his view, even if I didnt know the result. You go with a Lynch run, timeout, a Wilson draw for the TD, and a pass on 4th with time running out.
Lynch would`ve pound it with 2 tries at 1yrd line.

"What were Seahawks thinking on Russell Wilson's goal-line pass? Explanations make little sense:

pgardn
02-02-2015, 08:11 AM
The pass to end the first half with 6 seconds left was also risky.
If that ball gets batted up, bobbled, or even worse, intercepted, we question why did he not take the easy FG.
That last play of the half took 4 out 6 seconds. I assumed they thought they could get a receiver open quickly and they did. And that Pete would get a time review of the play if the time expired (provided it failed).
But to throw a short pick slant into a crowded goal line? How about throw the ball up to a corner if their 6'4" WR is single covered if your are so inclined to throw it? Then you can try Lynch twice with a time out. Or whatever.
If a team is going to lose from less than 1 yard out, lose it with your real horse on offense. Then people will talk about the incredible NE goal line stand against a guy that had been pounding them unmercifully.
Big history was made last night.

Add to the fact the Pats were one of the worst teams all year in 3rd and 4th and 1 it was dumb no excuse logic, formations or thought process justifies that call. Cardinals were up Vs Panthers when Lindley went full retard, The Punter went shank crazy, and Ted Ginn coughed up a punt in his own redzone.

The NFL media is still firmly attached to Struggle's dick and they hate Lynch, of course they're going to try to write that off as a conspiracy theory.
I can maybe understand passing it to preserve time, but the pass play itself was terrible. Why not play action, at least? Why not throw a fade to the corner to that tall Foot Locker Employee who's been beasting all day? :lol
If Russ throws a better ball, are we all even talking about how bad a call this was? Nah we're probably talking about how retarded Belicuck is for not calling a timeout

This play was just horrible from the call to the execution...
Order blame, worst being first:
- play call
- RW throw
- Lockette went to the ball like a puss
Troof. I would go like 60%, 30%, and 10% in order for those things you mentioned for the Seahawks portion of the blame plus the New England guy just made a hell of a play

60% is about right imo... it was retarded. I mean you can somehow inderstand the overthinking process on the play. They pack the line, I'm gonna outsmart the dudes and see if I can waste a bit more time in the process but man you have the best defense in the nfl... trust your guys to hold the score one fucking minute tbh... Beli has been more pragmatic in the last O play with much less D power, he could have tried also to be smarter than everybody and waste more time fucking around but after a run he went for the safe play and score and trust defense to hold it.
and I agree the rookie deserves a bit more praise... of course the two last factors helped but dude made a hell of a play... now one could have commented dude was too aggressive and did not play safe. He could have blocked the receiver before the line instead of trying to steal the ball. If he misses the ball people would have put the blame on him.

i honestly have no idea what the fuck happened at the end :lol
everyone at my party was in shock that Hoodie didn't call a TO, then that playcall was so bad. unfuckingreal. when the cheaters were celebrating, it was like someone took a corn ridden shit right in the middle of the party. people just disbanded and called it a night.
honestly one of the worst SBs I've seen. Brady winning MVP despite another dink n dunkpalooza. even the commercials were garbage except for maybe two of them. there was even a promo for a show called the Slap, about some faggot kid getting bitch slapped. I think the apocalypse is near.
It's a good thing you aren't a slug...
Cause you salty as fuck.
You mad, bro? :lol
