Mid 60s here in the Bay. Lots of rain over the weekend, though it was sorely needed.

People make too big a deal out of the weather. Yeah, it gets cold as balls in NE Ohio, but so what? It is what it is. You deal with it.

The worst are the people that move from here to places like Florida, Arizona, California- they get out there and act like this is Siberia and it snows 365 days a year.

This is true...

To be fair though, Some people just can't tolerate 3-4 months of winter. I mean Ohio isn't even that bad and people complain..

I personally have started saving money and hopefully become a millionaire and convince my whole family to move to BC or Toronto..somewhere where the winter is mostly -10c. :lol..

I lived in Rochester NY for 3 years. So i do laugh when my family/friends in Cali or Tx freak out over a sub 40 degree day ...
That being said ... I dont miss shoveling snow. Scrapping or chipping ice off my windshield, whiteout conditions etc. They dont happen that often but it just is a hassle. Life is to short ...if I could choose I would move back to Cali but I enjoy the life and work I have built in TX, rochester and NYC would not be my first choice. San Antonio was nice, quiet but cool family lifestyle.

Never lived there but Seattle is underrated as a city. Beautiful summers just to much rain for my taste.

It's not so much the cold in Ohio, it's that the sun disappears in October and doesn't reappear until April.

We didn't get an ounce of snow in Vancouver all winter. Was perfect.

Better you than me man, would hate the real winters like that with the wind chill of minus whatever C. I would move straight to Southern Cal if I got that much money and call it a day, no if and or butts about it. The weather all year long is perfect.

Don't act like it's not happening, global warming will end us all soon, and as we die, the human race can revel in the knowledge it produced great minds like Jeb Bush, and Rick Perry.

However, 97% of over 12,000 peer-reviewed articles agree that humans are the cause of global warming.

And per par, the wheathermen missed the mark again.

Such huge storm that was barely even felt. :lol

It literally snowed for like 30 minutes then it rain for like 2 hours and it got rid of the snow in the street.

It's only snowed once here so far, and that was for 15 minutes. Cold weather ain't that bad for the most part, but it makes mornings miserable.

Lucky i'm in Virginia. We always dodge the bullets the northeast or southeast gets. Rarely any big snow storms or hurricanes. Mild or hot and humid as hell . People were wearing flip flops and shorts the other day while Boston was getting hammered by snowstorms

you are right and that is why I have not moved back there. Housing in DFW, and Sa so much more reasonable. hotter summers but not like im hooping on outdoor courts anymore. Also public school quality even in some of the better neighborhoods are shite. As a parent I have to consider that unfortunately.

As someone who's lived on both sides I prefer the east coast. The weather is really the only thing California has going for it and that's not enough to keep me living there. The culture of California nearly turned me into a sociopath and the cost of living is ridiculous.
