We got some answers during that epic press conference, but not the big ones: We still don’t know where DreamVision plans on building its $3.5 billion, 5,000-acre theme park — “one of the most dynamic, most amazing global destinations” in the world, per its CEO — and we still don’t know how the company is going to pay for it.

Mayor Betsy Price, who attended the press conference, said she does not know the location of the theme park. She said she has looked at a couple of possible sites.

“It would have a huge impact on the region,” Price said.

Well, it is supposed to open in 2020. So there’s time, right?

"One reader notes that even a quick scan of corporate records kept by the state of Florida (http://search.sunbiz.org/Inquiry/CorporationSearch/SearchResults?InquiryType=OfficerRegisteredAgentNa me&inquiryDirectionType=ForwardList&searchNameOrder=SILANSKASRICHARDMJR%20P141712&SearchTerm=Silanskas&entityId=P14171&listNameOrder=SILANSKASANTHONYM%20L080000796170) show myriad “inactive, defunct and revoked corporations” operated by either Rick Silanskas or others with the last name, among them DreamVision Animation, Jesus Is Lord Television Ministries, Crystal City Music Palace and Little Darlin’s. And it’s not quite clear how DreamVision could even afford such a development. Says here (http://www.manta.com/c/mb4npnr/the-dreamvision-company-llc?utm_expid=82789632-30.NJYNlVUdTD21e-Hx75j2aA.0) it has an annual revenue of $390,000."

buy a CD from Rick Silanskas titled Portrait of Love. Apparently, he’s known as the “Ambassador of Romance.” (http://www.amtcworld.com/press/jaco-booyens)
