The Spurs looked amazing without him this season, we need trade him during the All Star break.

It's a good time now when teams are still interested in him, what's about Detroit?

I loved how local reporters were talking about his game before the draft.

They have some piece of trade that can match the Leonard's rookie contract?

I was thinking about starting this thread, but then when I went to check the numbers, he actually shot 34-83 in the last 6 games (including the 2-12 against Detroit tonight). That's about 41%, which is not a bad number.

He's just been inconsistent, mixing up 50%, 70% games with 22%, 23% games... it also doesn't help he can't seemingly get to the line, as he's can't buy a call right now.

While he can always get better, he's doing all right right now. Just need to pick his spots a bit better so the production isn't as inconsistent.

Good defensive game, a little too aggressive on offense (stalling the offense a bit and forcing shots), he did have some nice passes though. Hopefully the break helps everyone out because the rest of RRT won't be easy.

Instead of chucking up shots he needs to recognize the hot hand in Parker and green. He's young though so he's still learning.

Don't mind the shooting percentage. It was only 12 shots. When I usually look at Leonard's statline, I always look at his boards, steals, and blocks before his scoring. And he filled up the sheet in those areas in only 28 minutes. :tu

After Blake's injury the Clippers could try to add some player to keep pace in the West.

Kawhi played two great games against them this season, Rivers had some nice words for him...

They have something to include in the trade package? If Leonard could play home or maybe in New Orleans with Davis, it would work great for both sides.

Hopefully we can trade him. I'll look ahead to the future with justified hope if Kawhi can be traded to Clips or Pels.

he isn't shooting well, but his playmaking is top notch. once he gets respect from the refs, and learns how to finish better. watch out.

He seems to be pressing on offense and his shots aren't falling. But he still has a huge positive effect on many facets of the game even when he isn't scoring. That whole eye issue seemed to ruin his groove but I'm sure he will come back. With Leonard it is important to remember he is only 23 right now. As Charles Barkely once said, young players get better and old players just get older. Hopefully Leonard will be back on track as March rolls along.

Again, seems more like a quality of shot thing. Dude is not ever going to be an efficient first option. At best, he'll be Melo-lite on O. The Spurs will definitely need two more dominant offensive players after the Big Three leave

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. It's his first year as legit option.

But yeah, of course we need other dynamic scorers after the big 3...Duncan, Parker, manu would ever win anything without other dynamic scorers in the team.

What I don't understand is why Pop is so inlove with Kawhi ISO's...I've never seen him in a horns or zipper situations this year..Just ISO after ISO...So he's numbers is always going to look bad.

Lol. I'm not a member of the CoK. I like Leonard and think he's a max player. But I don't think he should try to be a first option. He's just not efficient enough when he creates for himself, and doing so severly limits the type of roster that can be built around him. The dude's a piece to the puzzle, but not the main piece.

The players also don't know how to play with kawhi as the center piece. They just stand there. No cuts, no picks, no multiple picks, no passing it to kawhi in his sweet spot and passing it to him when he is at the 3 point line only. :lmao No reentry passes.
They actually make it 2 times harder than other first options out there and he still shoots just as good as them except maybe harden or durant or lebron.
I don't see you blame his teammates for a part of his inefficiency. Even with all the struggles he is still going to be the best player for the spurs this year in the playoffs. Bet on it.
